It works perfectly on Audi A4
I almost didn’t buy this because a lot of the reviews said it either didn’t fit right or the volume control didn’t work. But after installing it myself, it actually works perfectly fine in my Audi. You do NOT push it all the way down. You just place it on securely with a little pressure and it stays in place. I’m literally a girl with nails and had no issue putting it on myself. At first, I thought the volume control didn’t work either. I figured, “oh well, at least it covers the ugly hole and the mute button works.” But while I was cleaning my car, I accidentally turned the bottom textured/grooved ring and realized THAT’S what controls the volume — not the top black button part. Once I figured that out, the volume worked perfectly. Pressing the top black button also mutes it like it should. So if you’re expecting it to snap all the way down exactly like the original, that’s probably where some of the confusion is coming from. But if you install it correctly, it definitely works and looks way better than having a missing knob.

Does not fit my 2019 s4 make sure you get part number 8W0919070 if your volume stick looks like a circle cut in half at the top

There are some products that you find and, when you do, you fall down to your knees while clutching a hand full of furious snakes, and gibber like a convulsing bonobo up toward whichever heavens happens to house your god de rigeuer, supplicant and in gracious thanks... this is one of those products. It Fits! (Audi A5)
For everyone saying it doesn’t fit, you have to give it a lotttt of pressure for it to go on but once you’ve got it on it stays on. there’s a little metal coil around the column that allows it to stretch a little to fit. you don’t need to do any drilling or anything, just use more pressure than you’d imagine
