After reading reviews I was concerned about ordering this but because we left it short notice to get a couples costume for newyears and the mr wanted to be batman I decided to "risk" it.It fits perfect - yes the bottom is seethrough when I lean over - but so are leggings and people wear them! All this about the gloves not being long enough and the belt been too small has not applied at all - I wish I could upload a picture for everyone to see what it 100% looks like as of course it looks better in the picture - everything always does.The only "issue" is for my liking the mask isnt as fitted as id like - but everyone says it looks fine so ill survive for one night.I am a solid size 8 but reading reviews went for 6-8 rather than 8-10 and it fits perfectly. If you are inbetween go small!

Bought this item at last minute for my daughter. Initially thought it was expensive comparatively. Got it out of the bag. All the suit is material and elasticated which was a pleasant surprise, so definitely a plus on that front. The headset was engineered in such a way, to put it on made it come apart on the plastic soldered joints because of a twisting motion happening when fitting it on the head. I re-soldered the points with a soldering iron and there was no real issue after that. It must have not gone through QC because it was clearly broken through a manufacture fault. Overall I felt you paid extra for the material but it was let down on some quality issues. My daughter is a tall 9 year old. She just about fills a size 8, so got the next size up to medium. It was loose fitting and slightly long so plenty of time to fill it out over the coming few years. I especially liked the real zip on the back rather that Velcro and she particularly liked the long gloves.

If zero stars were an option that's what I would have given. So disappointed. Bought for attending Comic Con to save me hours of sewing. Arrived promptly and outer packaging was intact. The internal package (the retail bag) had clearly previously been opened. All the pieces were present but there was a large hole in the back of the costume where it was not stitched. I suspect it has been previously tried on and the stitching broken. No time to return before the event so I had to sew it myself. Bought because Rubies is a known and respected brand and though not high quality usually adequate. This one is not fit for purpose.

Bought quite a few costumes from same manufacturer and this one is disappointing.The body suit is OK a bit see-through but that's ok. ;)The gloves need to be elasticated to stop then sliding down to the wrists.The mask doesn't fit well unless you have a large nose and the headpiece...what the hell is that? Why has no one else mentioned it in the reviews?It looks like a pair of shades gone wrong, does not sit well, it's uncomfortable and looks ugly and cheap.I will look for some cuter ears and would be even cuter with a tail. ;)Edit: Bought some cute ears and a tail. Don't know why they couldn't of included some instead of that complicated plastic mess that is supposed to be ears.

I am a size 10-12 and the XS fitted me perfectly.This outfit is a bit see-through, so I wore black opaque tights under for smooth lines and a better look.The sleeves are too short for the gloves, so I wore knee high socks on my arms (cut the toes out) to fill the gap.The belt fits snug around the waist. I wanted it to look more hipster, so I fixed the belt to a personal hipster belt with clear eleastic bands and put black duct tape over my buckle so it blended all in black.With this tweaking, the overall look and comfort of this outfit was amazing. I have never had so many compliments in all my life!Would recommend to anyone who is prepared to put a little bit of extra effort in to make this look amazing.

Absolutely beyond disappointed, I am 5'2, size 12-14 (top heavy, slim hips and 31" waist) and ordered large after researching this Rubies costume on several sites (this being the cheapest). It has arrived and although I expected it to be too long and would shorten it, it would fit someone 16-18 and then may not be skin tight as described. It is like a sack all over. It does have the front zip as I did not want velcro back, but as I don't have time to return the item I am seriously considering washing and attempting to shrink the fabric, and then using the sewing machine to slim down the legs (there are no side seams in my particular version). The belt barely fits, and is very poor quality, so I will use one of my own). To be honest if you have a nice pair of shiny leggings and have a tight black top and low slung belt, I would just buy a mask and ears - from elsewhere). Enough said, and apologies to disappoint. I just wouldn't want anyone else wasting return postage and having to do as I am.

Good size, the material it's a bit too thin, I had to wear legging underneath and I didn't like the plastic ears so I replaced them with different ones but per total it's not a bad costume at all, I got many comments about it. 😏

I ordered this costume in a size 12-14 and it fitted beautifully. Although the belt was tiny, I was lucky enough that I have a tiny waist, so I put it around my waist. To make the belt from falling down, we used safety pins. I looked very beautiful and just like catwoman.
