Rapesco S11662Z3 26/6mm No.56 Galvanised Staples, Box of 5000

Look, I never thought I’d find myself writing a glowing review for staples of all things, but here we are. The Rapesco No.56s feed into my Fellowes stapler like ammunition into a finely-tuned weapon — smooth, clean, satisfying. Every press of the stapler is followed by a crisp ka-chunk as the staple effortlessly penetrates paper, card, and probably the fabric of space-time. There’s no jamming, no splitting, and — most importantly — no staple-related shrapnel to the face, despite the brand mismatch. Yeah, sure — they’re a bit pricey for what are essentially small bent bits of metal, but honestly? These are premium-grade fasteners, and I regret nothing. If staples had a luxury category, these would come with leather seats and mood lighting. I don’t know what more I can say — they staple like gods intended, and they do it reliably, cleanly, and without drama. Probably the best staples you’re going to get, unless NASA’s hiding some next-gen titanium ones. Highly recommend if you're tired of cheap staples that fold like a wet noodle.

Good quality staples, brand as size as advertised and required

These staples are really good with no issues using in a heavy duty electric stapler, no jams or other issues so good value compared to headline brands. The only minor issue is that the number of staples in each batch is half the length of the named brand we usually use which is a bit more fiddly as you have to use two strips instead of one. If using in a small hand stapler this wont be an issue at all though. Will certainly buy again.

The Rapesco Type 26/6 mm (No.56) Galvanised Staples are great quality. They’re strong, sharp, and fit perfectly in standard staplers. No jamming or bending issues, and the galvanised finish helps prevent rusting. Excellent value for a large pack — reliable and long-lasting staples for everyday use.

What if you have the nightmare scenario of needing to attach one piece of paper, to , yes, you guessed it... another piece of paper? The absolute nightmare scenario. Very few people have worked out a system for this, and it's been the bane of office life for literally millions of years. Herman Stapler, along with his sidekick Otto Von Bismarck (no relation) in 1833, created The Staple, which saved many from the drudgery of making holes in paper and sticking them in so-called "ring binders". The staple has gone through several iterations. The round staple, the curly staple, the angled staple... and now, the zenith of the staple line is this, the Rapsesco S11662Z3 Galvanized steel 26 mil with 6 mil pitch square cross-section extruded/stamped Staple. Millions of hours of research have gone into this one product, which brings humanity to the very top of what Science can achieve. Rapesco, in this product, the S116622Z3 staple (ignoring the disastrous problems of the S116621A4 experiments in the 80s), have actually made a really good product. The staples are finely crafted, they fit into a standard stapler (of any make) and slide up and down with ease. Almost all staplers nowadays are of the 26/6 type, with only some smaller "pencil case" ones using smaller novely staples. Surely with such a finely crafted piece of paper/paper adherence technology we are but mere moments away in the reckoning of geologists to flying cars, to fusion reactors, or even, dare I hesitate to say it, a journey into SPACE itself? In the packet you get 2000 of these things, which is a LOT of staple for the price. Even in this day and age of cheap metal products, that's pretty good value for money. The staples are in blocks which are a bit too short for most staplers, so you almost end up always needing to break one of the blocks to fill the stapler. Don't forget that some staplers have a secret compartment on the back for storing more staples! I'm very pleased with these staples.
