Solid wooden pegs that will last a lifetime
Bought these years ago and they're still going strong. Plastic pegs just get brittle and snap after a few years due to UV damage, but decent wooden ones will last you a lifetime if you keep them dry. Mine live outdoors all year and get covered up by the washing line cover. They're plenty strong enough for any normal washing including heavy stuff like towels - never had a problem with lack of grip.

Reasonable pegs, good value
I like wooden pegs and these are not bad but not the best I've ever had. The 2 halves sometimes slip sideways when pegging out clothes and the peg comes apart - more than they should. It's possible to put them back together but very fiddly. Other than that, they grip well and do the job.
