(I gave it 5 stars so more people can reach this review and understand if it will work for their hair type.) I'm writing this to help people with thick, wavy, frizzy hair like mine..!! This brush does NOT straighten hair like a flat iron. Even on high heat, it only reduces frizz and loosens waves, but hair remains wavy. I tried proper sectioning, heat protectant, and high heat result was smoother hair, not straight hair. It works well for: Frizz control Making hair look neater and more manageable Daily grooming without damage It does not work if you expect Straight/salon like results or Flat-iron finish If your hair is fine or slightly wavy, you may like it. If your hair is thick with strong waves, don't buy this expecting straight hair you'll need a flat iron..
