Yes these are better than your average trimmers in my opinion, you can also adjust these trimmers to make the proper cut for thick and buzz cuts. Great product IMO.

Where can I purchase a zero guard for these clippers?

It comes with a 1/2 (0.5) guard - that should be the equivalent to an Andis 0 guard

Can it be used for balding cuts?
