Quick Easy to assemble and take down. Was large enough for about six people to sit comfortably and enjoy the shade it provided. The convenient carry bag makes it easy to carry the shade from point A to be and is lightweight at just about 11 lbs. Great for the beach! Any sand that got on the top was easy to shake off and easy to remove from the built in sand bags. We did not have wind on the days we used the shade but we had plenty of kids bumping the poles which help up nicely. The shade never fell on us!

I am delighted with this beach tent! It is incredibly easy for a single person to set up, and the sand anchors keep it steady even in the wind. It offers plenty of shade—perfect for the whole family—and is much cooler than a traditional beach umbrella. Highly recommended!

Pros: lightweight, easy to transport, put up and take down, can remove legs to drop a corner or side when the sun is not directly overhead Cons: it needs to have its canopy material staked or tied down (i.e., not great for a parking lot), but we used it on grass twice so far. One of the stake pegs snapped on our second day, which was surprising and disappointing since it wasn't even windy enough to fly a kite. It is not as tall as a typical easy-up canopy, so you can't stand underneath if you are over ~5'7". That's not a problem if you are sitting in chairs, but not ideal if you're cheering at a soccer game. We had this set up directly next to a traditional easy-up canopy. It was considerably warmer under this canopy, probably because the height is lower and the blue stretchy material absorbs and retains more heat. Overall, it's a very good canopy with poor quality threaded stakes.

I love this awning or tent; it's easy to assemble and disassemble, easy to carry, and most importantly, it protects against UV rays. It's spacious; three of us used it and there was still room to spare. I recommend it for these hot days at the beach, in the backyard, or for any outdoor activity.

I mistakenly thought this canopy was the same one I had purchased before as a gift that received glowing reviews. The picture is identical to the first one and I know you can usually find the same item from different manufacturers on amazon-so when this one arrived in my feed and was on a "sale" so I thought I scored! I bought this for our once-in-a-lifetime family vacation to Hawaii to celebrate my in-laws 60th wedding anniversary. This would allow those who could not handle the sun for an extended period to all be together and we would not have to worry about renting something something else. When we packed I was surprised by the weight and it caused us to have to bring another suitcase-felt like a small price to pay for this amazing trip at that time. We were shocked at what we actually bought. The stakes to hold this down were so small and cheap that no matter how deep we buried them they slid out of the sand like a hot knife in butter. The canopy itself was not the lightweight parachute material but a heavy and super stretchy polyester-like fabric. Stretchy & heavy being the issue-as soon as you set this up the weight of the fabric caused it to stretch and then sag in the center with in minutes-it was a nightmare of constant reconfiguring which was of no use since the stakes did not stay in the ground. Eventually, we found some trees to tie this to but the sagging was a huge issue. This was very expensive mistake on my part-do your research-make sure you are getting the lightweight fabric with substantial stakes. We did end up renting umbrellas for my in-laws and toddlers which we reasonable and easy to find if you are heading on a similar vacation:).

Easy set up and take down. as fast as my 6 year old filled the sand bags, i was able to assemble the poles and erect the tent in a minute and same with taking it down. We were at the beach with 10-15 MPH winds, the tent was stable and we didn't have to use the extra guide lines. Highly recommend!

This canopy is easy to assemble if there is no wind. Be sure to overfill the pockets with sand, stretch them out as far as you can before you set the poles and pack more sand around the pockets for the best stability. Most adults won't be able to stand up under the canopy but it is fine if you are sitting or laying down. You can easily fit 4-6 chairs and a cooler under it for good shade. It was be nice if the seller would include more detailed instructions along with pictures.

I got this last night and we rushed out the door today to the beach, so little prep time. It was pretty windy at the beach so set up was a little tricky bc of that and you can see it’s a little odd shaped, but considering, it went really well! The next time we put it up will be cake. Everything stayed put, even with the wind. We got the little 7’ one for quick trips over to the beach and it was perfect for 2 people. Any more and you need to size up (the actual shadow is that small). The sand bags are small so a few scoops and they are filled. We needed the cords to secure it, which anything you have to screw in to the sand is annoying, but necessary. Once put up, we were very happy with it. Take down was very easy and sand does not stick to the material which was a super plus! I know this can be done with one person, but on a windy day, I’d recommend two just to keep things from flying away. Def recommend!
