Europe, one of my many many many favorite hard rock band, love every song on this cd, my favorite ones being The Final Countdown, Rock The Night, Carrie & Heart Of Stone, any fan who enjoys hard rock as much as I do, should get this, believe me, you'll be glad that you did !

Fantastic rock music from one of the mega-bands of the 1980s
High energy rock music from the 1980s! The Swedish band "Europe" is phenomenal -- both for songs and music videos. The vocals, guitar, drums, synthesizer all work together for excitement, thrills, and fun. Layers of meaning in the lyrics, for those who like to think about the music after listening to it. From "Europe's" themes, tunes, and attitudes one can imagine that being in your 20s in the 1980s was a great experience (the "Awesome 80s"). Some of their music videos like the title song "Final Countdown" have hundreds of millions of views on Youtube.

Euro-Pop Metal
I listen to about every kind of "Metal" there is out there. This album is a classic must for every metal head despite it's soft bubble gum feel. Sure you're more likely to want to dance to it than bang your head to the songs. But you can still throw up the "horns" and pump your fist because it's a worthy endeavor and call it what you like it's one of the earlier Power Metal albums ever recorded. I would lump this album in with other pioneer bands like Dokken and maybe Whitesnake. Some would simply call this a "Rock" album and be done with it but the roots of metal are all here- sweep picking and finger tapping included. Joey Tempest has a great voice, the songs are well written and catchy. I love this album. It's a classic.
