DUROCK T1 Tactile Switches feature similar housing materials to their line of linear switches: Polycarbonate top housing, Nylon bottom, POM stem (with tactile bump). This switch is intended for users looking for a "stepped" tactile feel, opposed to the "rounded" tactility from Holy Pandas. DUROCK T1 Switches Feature: Heavy / Large Tactile MX Switch 5 Pin Bottom Out Force: 67g Actuation Force: 55g Operating: 2mm Total Travel: 4mm Tactile Method: Gold-plated Metal Leaf Gold-plated Spring Factory Pre-Lubed, can easily lube over oil Package Included: One pack equals 90pcs T1 switches. Color: Transparent Clear Housing / Teal Stem Review: Feedback and sound are personal preferences. But, if you like medium/heavy switches with a pronounced bump at the very top of the travel distance, I think you would like it. I bought theses tactile switches for my heavily modified GMMK Pro keyboard with Drop MT3 profile keycaps. What ever switches I will put on it, they will sound thocky more than anything else. And it is what I wanted. I am an heavy typist and I bottom out too easily with lighter switches like Akko CS Ocean Blue. And I prefer a sharp initial bump over a more broader bump like Glorious Panda. That's why a like these switches very much. I found a few switches with slightly bent pins. Probably because they come in a pot and not in an individual compartment. Not really a problem because you just need to straighten the pins. Overall, all the switches working just fine. Review: It's a very tactile switch as in the bump is very pronounced, much like a solid membrane keyboard. If you're a fast typer (unlike me) you might actually feel frustrated with it as double key presses are limited by the switch and not your finger. There were some quality issues, had 3 dead in 110 which isn't too bad but it isn't greater either.

I wish I tested out the keyboard I got before buying the t1s as I did like the Aula f75 max feel and sound and I already had this in transit together with the keebs. I said $70 might just go to waste. I was wrong. It arrived with no bent pins which was amazing and I wanted to see the differnce. I found out that this switch was much harder to press than the regular linears. I know there would be a difference but as to how much, I had no idea. It might take some getting used to but the sound was so much better. It was quiter than the stock epomakers and it made every keystroke "thockier" giving it the sound and feel of the epomaker to be clackier in comparison to this. So far, I am enjoying it but I just might re-lube all of the switches to see how far I can go with this. Either improving the experience or destroying the tactility of the T1s. 4 stars as I found about 5-7 switches to be scratchy and rough. not a big deal as there were extras for a 75% layout. as I found some scratchy, it now triggered the idea of re-lubing which is not an issue of doing but an issue of entering deeper into the rabbit hole of customization- lube, switch opener, etc. I enjoy it, I just don't enjoy the spending more and more on this. It will soon become and addiction.

They're good. You should try them! These switches are (obviously) much better than the brown Cherry MX switches, and the 'bump' offers just enough resistance for those of us with heavy fingers who inadvertently ghost press keys when using linear switches - and the previously mentioned MX switches. I was convinced that clicky was the only option for the way I typed after trying several switches, and heavy linears are...well too heavy. This is a truly capable alternative, and after verifying that I was in the office and working, I'm sure my office mates immediately appreciated the SUBSTANTIAL reduction in noise... Oh, why do I like it? Yeah...almost forgot! The pre-travel is light, but the wall is substantial! Breaking though leads to a snappy and rather satisfying bump. It has virtually erased any possibility of errant keypresses due to resting my hands on the keys. That probably sounds weird, but when I am standing and typing, sometimes I lift my wrist off the table since I use taller SA keycaps usually. Because of that, the piggly-wigglies will too easily depress a key far too often if I am not using a 2-stage key (okay, I know they aren't really 2-stage, but you get the point...) There you have it. No techno mumbo-jumbo. Just a straightforward review. Hope that helps; happy typing! ๐ค
