Is this made in China?

It is my understanding NovaBay, which is in California and can be found on Wikipedia, makes the products. I try not to purchase from China, but it is sometimes hard to tell.

For those of us without microwaves, is there another method of heating?

It is a good question. The design for the eye compress is for use in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds.

Dry or damp paper towel in microwave?

Thanks for your inquiry. Please use a dry paper towel to heat your mask in the microwave to protect it from any debris that may be in your microwave. NovaBay Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
