Exactly what I needed
This rubber wheel chock is exactly what I needed! It’s heavy-duty and provides excellent stability, keeping my vehicle securely in place. The rubber material grips the ground well and doesn’t slip, even on uneven surfaces. It’s also durable and built to last, withstanding the elements without cracking or degrading. I appreciate how easy it is to use—just position and forget it. A must-have for anyone needing a reliable and safe way to secure their vehicle. Highly recommend!

Solid like a rock
This pair of chocks is exactly what I needed. The hold a vehicle without any concern. They are well priced. These seem like they will handle the weather without breaking down. They are not overly heavy making the easy to handle. I like that they came with rings installed for rope pulls.

Sturdy
I love the weight and durability of these. I don’t worry about my trailer rolling away when I’ve got them blocked with these. I have some others that are thicker and heavier than these but these still work well

Smell is --- incredibly strong/bad.stinky.. Product it self is awesome. But still smells after a month airing it out outside...
I read the reviews about the smell but thought - surely it can't be that bad... The smell really is THAT BAD.But other than the smell, the chock itself is awesome. Solid rubber. Heavy but not too heavy. Nice handle. I like the grip/treads on it. I recently had to change a tire on my Maxda CX5 and realized I didn't have a chock to extra-stabilize the car. So I read reviews and got this one. I want to keep it in my car for any future flat tires I may end up with. I think the product itself will be great for it. However -- back to that smell. It really is that bad, that strong, oily/rubbery/stinky right out of the shipping box. It made another boxed product I had in the order also smell. Luckly that other product was an outdoor product so it stinking or not wont matter. I've had the chock outside, through 3 days of full-on california sprink sunshine now - I think the smell is getting less, but I'm not sure yet if it will bake out enough to have the chock in the back of my SUV. I can see if its kept in the bed of a pickup with out a shell on it, it would be fine. In a SUV, or trunk, or covered pickup - I'm really not sure yet. I really hope the smell sun-bakes out.Update - One month after purchaseI have had the chock outside for a month now, in the sun during the day, trying to get rid of the smell. The smell is less - but still too much to have it stored inside my SUV, in the back. Especially when the SUV get hot from the sun. I still want to use this chock though - its heavy and really is well made. I'm getting a smell proof/bear proof /camping food storage bag to see if that contains the smell enough so that I can keep it in the back of my SUV.

Much better than others...
I purchased another brand that failed during use. The bad ones were hard plastic injection molded shells. These MaxxHaul Rubber ones are solid thermoset rubber like a car tire. They are very heavy duty and will probably last for ever..

Good value chocks
These are good, simple, solid medium sized rubber chocks. They do have that molded rubber smell when you unbox them, but it dissipates pretty quickly if you air them out. I bought a couple of pairs to test on our 6000 lb RV trailer. I liked their performance well enough I bought another pair. The other pics show the size. They are not huge, but big enough to chock RV tires for sure in inclined spots and should hold other trailers/vehicles pretty well. The tire is the rear of my 2018 F150-- 275/55/R20.The cords make them easy carry and to pull out from the tires. One pic shows how they arrive. this is pretty much how I store them. 3 pairs like this stash compactly in my crate with Anderson levelers. They are heavy--even with the hollow space. I'm not concerned that the trailer will compress these like it has done the cheap yellow plastic ones we used before. And the rubber construction grabs pavement surfaces. All in all a good value.
