SHIMANO PLATFORM PEDAL FOR BMX/DH

The SHIMANO Flat Pedals PD-GR40 are absolutely fantastic! These pedals provide exceptional grip, which gives me great confidence and control on all kinds of terrain. Whether I'm on a rugged trail or just cruising around town, my feet stay securely in place, even during the most intense rides. The build quality is top-notch, and the pedals feel durable and well-made. They handle rough conditions with ease and still look great after months of heavy use. Installation was a breeze, and they’ve been a game-changer for my riding experience. However, a word of caution—because the grip is so strong, if your foot does slip, the pins can give your leg a nasty scrape. It’s something to be mindful of, especially if you’re riding without shin protection. Despite this, I wouldn’t trade the secure footing these pedals provide for anything else. Overall, the SHIMANO Flat Pedals PD-GR40 are an excellent choice for any serious rider. Just be careful, and enjoy the ride! Highly recommended!

Very grippy pedal, inspires confidence and only a little bit more expensive than the non brand copies.

The grip is outstanding, even in wet conditions, thanks to the well-placed pins that securely hold my shoes in place. The build quality is what you expect from Shimano and they are durable and lightweight, perfect for long rides. Installation was straightforward, and they performed flawlessly on various terrains. Whether you’re commuting or hitting the trails, these pedals provide excellent stability and control. Highly recommended for cyclists of all levels!

These are a great set of pedals apart from one thing. Grip is great and they look great. The only thing id say to watch out on is the spikes are SHARP! They scratch you legs to bits. Other than that, theyre great at what they arre supposed to do.

Fantastic grip. I've taken off my XT clipless and replaced with these for a more chilled relaxed ride and the grip ( with a pair of Vans on ) is brilliant. Just don't have them spin round against your shins unless your sporting a false leg ! Awesome set. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Light weight and super grippy.

Shimano platform pedals really light and they are made from very robust materials had a pair last 2 years on my last bike mainly in the woods ect so for the money they can take a beating

Used a spanner in my folding bike the grips on the peddles are 2nd to none! brilliant 100 recommendations. look like they will last for years

Very well
