Great value for this price point
Easy to assemble, seems sturdy as a tree. The cord minder clips are mostly good, and there is plenty of flexibility in the setup.

Nice product
I've used these before. Never a problem with them. It's a bit cumbersome to setup, but once setup, it's a great product. You can then display your monitors in any position as therange of motion is great. Currently it's fitting nicely in a desktop cubby with two 27" monitors. Just needs to be tilted a bit. All the hardware and tools are included. They have several different versions that all work very well. I'm satisfied.

Very nice stand. Some installation tips . . .
VIVO Dual LCD Monitor Free-Standing Desk Mount w/ Optional Bolt-Through / Stand Heavy Duty Fully Adjustable Fits 2 Screens up To 27" (STAND-V002F) My desk had a hole on the back for wires, etc. so I mounted it there and did not use the stand that came with the monitor. Installation was a snap, with what I considered to be a very nice instruction booklet. The booklet is printed on very nice glossy paper and is in English only, making it very easy to follow directions. Users who do not read English will have to get some help. All parts, screws, etc. were individually sealed in plastic bags, making it easy to sort them out for assembly. Nice job on this, VIVO. Now, two things that I figured out: Thing #1, after using the adjustment screw to raise the right monitor so that it was level with the left monitor (I had to raise it up as far as it would go, but it was enough), the right monitor became very wobbly on the VESA plate. There was a lot of slack once it was raised up. VIVO eagerly sent me another VESA plate, but this did nothing to fix the wobbling. I did find a solution, however, that was pretty easy. After raising the monitor up to the level of the other monitor with the adjustment screw, and before installing the cap nut, I got out the soldering gun and dripped solder down the area where the screw comes up through the plate. This filled up the gap in the hole and after putting the cap nut back on, the monitor is now as stable as the one that was not raised. The hole is oversized in order to make it easier to set the monitor on the stand, but it makes it wobble when raised up. I think the problem is that the cap nut 'bottoms out" on the screw before it can tighten things up. If VIVO would supply a regular nut instead of the cap nut, or a deeper cap nut, to use on the screw, this would likely eliminate this problem. If the monitor doesn't need to be raised, the cap nut secures the VESA plate nicely to the arm so that it doesn't wobble. I didn't feel like going out an getting the right size nut, so I just dripped solder in there. I proper nut would be much better. Now, I'm not an engineer of any sort, so this may all be way off base, but if you find your monitor wobbling after you raise it to match the other, you might want to look first at the cap nut which locks the VESA plate to the stand. That is what locks the monitor down and prevents wobbling. It's not there only to keep the monitor from accidentally coming off the stand. it also locks the VESA plate securely to the stand. Had I not had to work out the wobbling issue, this would definitely be a Five Star stand. Thing #2, The stand comes with all of the joint tension adjustments set very tight. After loosening up all of them, the stand became much more useful for me. I can now grab a monitor by it's bottom frame and drag it where I need it to be without struggling with it. The hinges are VERY loose now, but still secure. They don't wobble at all. If you plan to leave the monitors in place after you get set up, the tension is set pretty well. If you plan to move the monitors around like I do, you should consider releasing a LOT of the tension on the joints. Moving the monitor up close for photo editing has been a great benefit that I had not considered when I bought this stand. I though I was getting it just to have more room to clutter up my desk! Also, the stand comes with the three Allen wrenches needed to set up and adjust the stand. On the wire guide they put a place to store the three Allen wrenches. I thought that was a great idea.

Can topple over when you put the first monitor on, but once balanced everything is good

Perfect for Me and Anyone Else!!!
My needs for this monitor stand are a little different than most people. Most people will have 2 monitors that are the same size and usually the same brand -- meaning they'll be the same height and weight on both sides. But I wanted something that was flexible, strong and solid allowing me to put a 24 in TV on one side and a 20 inch VGA monitor on the other. This stand works very well. I also wanted to be able to switch out the 20 inch monitor and put my 15 inch laptop in its place or maybe my 7 inch tablet. My monitors weigh 9 pounds for the 24 inch and 11 pounds for the 20 inch. The laptop is about 5 pounds. The monitor stand out of the box is perfect. The stand if supporting like sized monitors is very stable. For what I'm doing I screwed it down because I want to be able switch out monitor and laptop without asking for help. I love it because it was easy to put together and meets my rather unusual needs. The pictures of the back plates show the thumb tightening screws working for the monitor but not for the TV -- I had to get creative e and used some nuts to act as spacers -- the thumb screws were too long. The design is well thought out. You have full range of motion, cord management and even a place to put allen wrenches needed for adjusting positions. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I buy a lot on Amazon and this is the best designed product I've purchased for a long time.

Easy and Sturdy!
I bought this because my new company was dragging their feet on getting me arms for my monitors. I am tall, so I have always needed my monitors raised. The desk has limited space, so cheaper riser options were not great. I did not use this apparatus immediately but once I did, I was extremely happy! It is very minimal looking, actually much nicer than the ones the company would have used. Maybe not as 'sturdy' but these are sturdy enough and for the price they are doing the job perfectly! Easy to assemble. I am not able to use the either of the 2 mounting options since this is an office desk. The hole in my desk for mounting such hardware is not reachable with this. I could use the screw down but would need to drill a hole in the desk. I use it without the mounting which, at first, I thought was going to be a problem as the monitors kept tipping forward when I was adjusting them to the height and forward position I desired. I was successful in finding the "sweet spot" that spot where the monitors are perfectly aligned and do not tip forward! Love it! Sleek, black, minimalist and functioning great! Definitely recommend and for the price?? If your company is stingy and reluctant to help with ergonomics (even tho they claim to be all for it and helpful...NOT) these work wonders.

Space saver!
This stand is affordable, durable and exactly what I was looking for. The instructions were clear; you can move your monitors around as needed as well as adjust the height. By lifting up my monitors this allowed for ample usable space on my desk that I desperately needed. There is a cable management system that runs on the back of the stand and is very useful in making your desk not look so cluttered. This looks great on my desk, and I wish I had known about this product earlier. I never realized how much space I was losing at my desk. I also have the vivo standing desk converter with this monitor system and it works great

bad for double 27" glass desk
just got done setting this up and have some initial thoughts. things i like: - cord management and hex caddy are a plus. - i love that adding and removing monitors is so easy via the plate that attached with just one screw. helped with setting up. - very sturdy cinstruction - once set up micro adjusting monitor height was simple. things i did not like: - WARNING: this design is unstable with 27" monitors using only the free standing base. it is simply not wide enough to take advantage of the full range of motion this stand has to offer. had i known this i probably wouldn't have bought it. i have a large glass top desk and can't make use of the various stabilizing features it has that require going straight through the desk. i will look into other options to make my base more sturdy (perhaps more weight or a padded clamp.) i wish i could attach it to my old monoprice base this stand was replacing. it was very wide for a single panel stand but low profile. it would be perfect for this but is not compatible. - set up was a pain because of the balancing issues. i am still slowly tweeking the positions but because of the balancing issues i mentioned it's slow going and tenuous to maintain stability. it was particularly difficult getting both monitors on the stand because of these balancing issues. if one is added or removed, it's thrown off kilter. - the joints in the arm are impossible to loosen. i don't know if this is by design (the ends of the screws appear painted over and really stuck in place.) it makes for strong and reliable holding power, but again because of the balancing issues it makes adjusting everything without toppling my displays a nightmare. i think once everything is as it should be it will work out fine, but the instability of the free standing base is a big disappointment. i would recommend folks with full sized monitors+glass top desks look for other solutions.

Good Sturdy Stand
Received this 3 days back and set this up immediately. No issue with the product in terms of assembly, linkages, adjustment, stability. There is a minor scratch on the base though which is not a big issue to me. I assemble this and set this to roughly the height and position i want by measurement before putting the monitor on. After the monitor is put on, minor adjustment to get them to exactly where i wanted. No issue in the process. In terms of stability, i set this up to a W configuration with the 2 monitors as close to the vertical shaft as possible. This has an advantage of saving desk space too with the monitor all the way back. With this, the stand is very stable. All in all, very happy with the purchase.

Perfect for a mounting multiple monitors on a small desk.
Helped me clean a lot of clutter lying around on my desk which was too small for placing two monitors in addition to the usual accessories. No complains!

Not very stable with 2 x 24in monitors
works perfect if you have the monitors flat it stable but if you angle the monitors the stands fall down. its basic physics. the stand is perfect when you add weight to it to ensure it doesnt fall when you angle toe monitors to far forward.

The article is of poor quality
The stand was delivered well-packed, but it was damaged nonetheless. It had either been used before, or the coat of paint is very weak. Additionally, the screws were too tight, and due to their poor quality, they got damaged quickly after I tried to loosen them a bit (in order to move the monitors slightly during usage). The stand's balance is fair, but I wouldn't leave the monitors on a desk that might occasionally be bumped by a child or an animal. I'm going to keep it because I have no other option; I need to continue working. Otherwise, I would have returned it.
