The backing is plastic. You can't let them stand or liquid will soak through.

They are the same size as a regular size doormat

What gram rating is this?

These were very thin so they would not hold much liquid. They were out of the ones I usually get I would say these won't holy many grams you can get hold of the company and ask

if used overnight and depending how much one leaks it can be leakproof. but if heavy output it will leak. for my family member we put two..sometimes three
