Work well. Bought on sale.
Good sprinkler. Good price on sale. Regular prices are hard to understand but Rainbird is much worse.

Great cost effective replacement for Rain Bird Maxi Paw
My Rain Bird Sprinkler system is probably at least 10+ years old and is starting to show signs of wear and tear on the rotor heads and even the cup that houses the sprinkler has been sinking or angling due to the freeze / thaw cycles. Some of the rotor heads still work fine while others struggle to rotate, hence this Orbit replacement is extremely cost effective at 1/3 the cost of an equivalent Rain Bird Maxi Paw replacement and this is including the housing cup as well where the Rain Bird Rotor replacement is at least $20 just for the head. I highly recommend getting the Rain Bird Sprinkler Head Tool as it makes the entire job very easy and I'm not sure how else you could replace the sprinkler head without it. The tool works with both Rain Bird and this replacement Orbit head as well. Warning, the Orbit head is very difficult to remove from the housing it comes installed in, but it does unscrew with enough force (might need 2 people or use a vice to hold the handle of the tool while rotating the housing to remove the rotor head). Great Value, Great Results, can't go wrong with the Orbit replacement at less than $10.

Check Size 1/2 or 3/4 in
Great impulse sprayers but this one, 55200, takes a 1/2 in connection only. 55201 takes either 3/4 or 1/2 in bottom connection. Not mentioned in initial description but near the end of the product description just before reviews.

Poor quality
I've been buying these for a couple years mainly because they are cheaper than most and they fit in the standard pop-up impact sprinkler housing. But I've been having a lot of problems with the last couple of batches. 1. They tend to not want to pop-down consistently. I find them popped up/open long after my pump has shut off. 2. They do not fit a standard impact sprinkler head wrench...very well. They are missing the groove under the directional control adjusters. This means you have to carefully position the top of the wrench just below the main part of the sprinkler head. When removing or tightening into the housing, there is a risk of seriously damaging the springs and plastic washers/bushings in the sprinkler head. Maybe Orbit has a better wrench. I'm using a standard Rainbird impact sprinkler head wrench. 3. They just don't seem to last more than a season. They get stuck because the springs seem weak and they jump the directional adjusters. They then become useful only as a 360 degree sprinkler head. 4. The sprayer control screws have fallen out of nearly every one I used, or the screw backs it way out causing the sprinkler to spray a thin long distance stream. I end up replacing the plastic screws with a stainless steel screw. 5. I've had to repair several this year when the entire top of the sprinkler head, just above the plastic bushing, popped off causing water to shoot 20 feet into the air. Luckily I've been able to find all the parts and reassemble the sprinklers. They do not seem to be using any sort of lock-tight on the threads near the plastic bushing. This allows the head to slow work loose on the threads and pop off.

Pop-up sprinklers
I have ordered 6 of these pop-up sprinklers. They pop-up and preform just fine however they will not retrack back down into the housing when the water turns off. If you touch the top they will drop back down. All 6 operate the same, disappointing. I'll probable return to using Rainbird.

Alles wie gewohnt geliefert. Funktion wie erwartet schön wäre wenn man die Wurfweite direkt am Regner ändern könnte

Very good. Initially some teething issues. It would get stuck open. A load of WD-40 did the trick. It's been a good few months and still working.
