Does anyone remember Velamints? The chocolate mint was my favorite and PUR gum chocolate mint reminds me of that...good times. The cinnamon took a minute to get used to since it's actually real cinnamon, but in the quest for natural and cleaner ingredients I'm all for it! Like many have said, the flavor doesn't last long, but I chew this specifically to clean my teeth after meals. Xylitol is good for teeth so I'm all about that. Even after the initial flavor wears out it's still quite minty, and doesn't eventually feel like you're chewing a tire...it stays softer than most other gums. Love it! I think it's a great value for the price per serving size, but I only chew one piece at a time. When you compare another sugarless gum that four out of five dentists recommend, this is a better gum and better value.

Xylitol gum is good for your teeth but it’s hard finding xylitol gum in stores and even harder finding new flavors—I like novelty and sometimes I get bored with the same ol’ flavors of gum. Super excited to see chocolate flavored gum. The chocolate tastes like a tootsie roll but extremely mild and mostly on the first few chews. I would say in about 3-5 minutes the chocolate flavor is completely gone and only the stronger mint flavor remains and that lasts maybe 10-15 minute. Gum is soft on the first bite, not hard. No synthetic ingredients

Enjoyable chew, reasonable quantity for price. Flavor isn’t amazing, but it’s good for chocolate flavored (rather than actual chocolate) and the mint element lasts pleasantly.

This was my wife's favorite. We bought the 12 pack of spearmint and she was disappointed that we didn't get this flavor instead, but she was afraid that it wouldn't taste good so we played it safe. Wish we hadn't cuz she LOVES it. It is LONG gone. But I'm about to order it again for her as a surprise:) I don't like chocolate so its not my favorite flavor, but that being said I can tell the flavor is done well. and overall I like the size, quality and texture of this gum brand, I just prefer the pomegranate flavor.

I bought this gum recently. It’s a little hard when you first chew it, but it softens up over time and it stays soft. The chocolate flavor is sort of a shadow and very hard to determine, but the mint lasts longer. I would recommend a different flavor personally, although this tastes good, it’s essentially just mint. Additionally, you really need two to four pieces, since once is just not enough, so it’s sort of expensive compared to other sugar free gums, and therefore gets used up quickly. That’s sort of understandable since it’s Aspartame free. Good for blowing bubbles also, which is not common in sugar free gum. I’d buy this again, but definitely in a different flavor.

I love this gum! The flavor is great. Hint of chocolate, hint of mint. Not overpowering, just right. Doesn’t stick to my teeth. No aspartame, gluten free, soy free, all the things I need. Flavor last a decent amount of time. I chew it to stave off the munchies while I’m working at my desk. I just love this stuff.

SO good! I’m not a regular chewer of gum, but I’m trying to find non-sugar ways to trick my brain into thinking it’s getting chocolate. I tried this on a whim and I love it! The flavor is like eating a chocolate fudge popsicle or drinking a chocolate float, not chemical-ly or like icky stevia, which ruins everything it touches. This gum is guilt-free and super tasty.

I really wanted to love this PUR Chocolate Mint Gum because I appreciate that it’s aspartame-free and made with 100% xylitol. The flavor combination is unique — a refreshing mint with a smooth hint of chocolate that’s not too sweet. At first chew, it tastes great and feels like a treat without the guilt. Unfortunately, the flavor fades pretty quickly — usually within just a few minutes — and the gum becomes hard and tough to chew soon after. I also noticed that it loses that pleasant texture faster than other natural gums I’ve tried. I still like that it’s made with clean ingredients and comes in a convenient resealable container, but for me, the short flavor life and stiffness make it more of an occasional pick rather than a daily go-to. Overall, a nice concept with healthy ingredients, but the texture and longevity need improvement.
