added this to my supplement shelf after wanting iodine and tyrosine in one capsule rather than juggling seperate bottles. The ingredient list is refreshingly minimal, which I appreciate when trying to keep things tidy. Capsules are small and easy to swallow, with no odd aftertaste. The bottle feels sturdy and clearly labelled, so dosage is straightforward. I take one with breakfast and it fits neatly into my daily setup without complication. It’s free from a long list of common additives, which gives some reassurance about build quality. The only minor thing is the bottle is quite plain, though that’s hardly a deal breaker. For 60 capsules, the pricing feels fair and practical for a two month supply. I’d definately share my recomendation with anyone looking for a clean, uncomplicated trace element and amino acid combination.

As I’ve said many times before in my supplement reviews; one supplement generally requires another relatable supplement with which to ‘work’ off of, in-order to actually ‘work’ within the body (i.e.; improved bioavailability) by aiding absorption rates whilst there. So, the active ingredient doesn’t just wastefully pass-through your system, and not helping you. Iodine is the clever ingredient within this complex, as the thyroid gland will use it like a glue to attract the other active ingredient within this complex (Tyrosine) to structurally build thyroid, which helps regulate mood, weight, energy levels, etc.; so that you don’t have a future issue that may require a thyroid injection from a medical professional. It’s a really useful and simple complex that could save you a lot of time, money and inconvenience. I’m usually complaining that these Pure Encapsulations products are too expensive, but this is an important product; and if you’re prone-to thyroid issues, then this is “totally worth-it, man.” It’s a damn-sight easier than needing-to lose weight because your thyroid hormone levels aren’t right, feeling down because your weight isn’t right, but unable-to get the levels of exercise because things aren’t right, and not being able-to concentrate just because one hormone isn’t being produced right. Check with a medical professional first, and then try ‘this’ particular product first to see whether this complex will work for you. It’s all worked-out perfectly for you, the Tyrosine is in the ‘free-form’ state, which is important, as it’s better absorbed; (and most cheaper brands won’t use ‘free-form’ Tyrosine) and then all you need-to then do is to consume-it. Done. What could be simpler? A good and important product from a highly trusted brand. At-least try-it once, continuously and for long-enough to reap the benefits.

Pure Encapsulations Iodine and tyrosine - My experience: these pills are a great way to introduce iodine and tyrosine trace elements into your diet. They are an essential supplement for your body's thyroid health. After using these supplements for going on four weeks, here are my thoughts: I've seen some positive benefits but again I'm not going to say that they're going to work for everyone because everybody's body is different. However I am very confident that these pills are, as listed, from Pure, a very reputable brand which I do trust, and they have a very clean label. 36 lb 6 oz. A timer review: these are pretty expensive for 60 capsules, coming in at 60p per capsule but if you are in need of such a supplement then I think these could be beneficial for you.

When it comes to Supplements, I feel that I owe it to both myself, and especially to my family, to always carry out appropriate research to establish the Supplement's potential to improve our health, or to adversely affect it, before I am in any position to decide if it's worth consuming, and if the cost is worth paying. This is why I now only allow myself and my family to consume Supplements that I have previously identified may have a health benefit, and to only buy those Brands that are likely to contain the Supplement that I have previously identified may be worth consuming. So, for me at least, it's a simple Iodine & Tyrosine Test: (𝟭) Is it worth consuming? (𝟮) Is it worth buying? (𝟯) Does the Pure Encapsulations Brand actually contain Iodine & Tyrosine? Consuming something that contains nothing of any benefit, or worse, is not only a complete waste of money, but it is also a wasted opportunity to potentially improve one's health, or to help avoid an otherwise avoidable health problem. The latter is crucially important and, in my opinion, significantly outweighs the financial considerations. On this occasion, I was satisfied that there was credible evidence that the Pure Encapsulations Brand does contain Potassium Iodine 225 mcg & L-Tyrosine 500mg and in the quantity stated, and that any related test results were either credible, verifiable, or both. 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝗢𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀? In the short term, that is usually impossible to say, because few Supplements are likely to reveal any benefits over just a few days. The effect may take weeks, or even Months, or there may be no observable effect if it has helped to avoid a problem. Therefore, my main approach initially, has been to watch for any adverse effects and, in that respect, I can confirm that I have not noticed any from consuming the Iodine & Tyrosine Supplement made by Pure Encapsulations. 𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗕𝘂𝘆 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗜𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲 & 𝗧𝘆𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟳𝗴 𝟲𝟬𝘅 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀? Yes, Pure Encapsulations' example of Iodine & Tyrosine is well presented and I found the contents in good condition and free from both tampering and general contamination. However, whilst Cap was not loose it is still easily removed. This means that, ultimately, the main protection relies upon just a single Seal beneath the Cap. I would therefore prefer to see some additional anti-tampering measures, such as an additional Seal around the Cap itself to confirm it has not been removed after manufacture. I already use a supportive lifestyle approach and a very considered diet, and I was interested in this because iodine and tyrosine are both nutrients I personally like to pay attention to as part of that picture. For me personally, this has been a positive addition. It feels “clean” in my body, sits comfortably with my digestion, and I haven’t reacted to it — which is saying something, because I normally react to just about everything. I like that this combines trace iodine with tyrosine in one place rather than needing separate bottles, and the dose feels sensible rather than overwhelming. I don’t take this every single day; perhaps 3 times a week. Just to keep my system topped up as it can easily be pushed over the edge!! I use it mindfully in a rhythm that suits my system and how I’m feeling, and that approach works well for me. The capsules are easy to swallow, have no odd taste, and the transparency of the ingredients gives me a lot of confidence. Not being a fan of consuming seaweed and suchlike, which are a great way to get your iodine, I do like to take a supplement. Iodine has multiple health benefits and with a standard western diet we can easily miss out on these. Tyrosine is, I must admit, a new one on me, and something I need to read up on. However, the quality and purity of the ingredients in this brand, the lack of unnecessary filler and freedom from common allergens, all fill me with confidence. The packaging, a simple sealed plastic canister, is pared back, functional and clear, is no-nonsense and fit for purpose. The capsules, one a day, are small, odourless and flavourless, and easy to swallow. All I will say is that the quality does come at a significant cost. At the time of writing, almost £35 for 60 capsules, so two months’ supply.

Been taking one a day with breakfast and they’re easy enough to swallow, no strong taste. Bottle is simple and capsules don’t stick together which helps. Haven’t noticed anything dramatic but energy feels a bit steadier through the morning and no stomach issues so far. Straightforward supplement to add into a routine. Would recommend.
