Line quality does make a difference!
I’ve used both Power Pro and other much less expensive brands. At the end of the day, they all get the job done. However, if I want extremely smooth casting and less chances for wind knots from the surf, Power Pro is a must.

Been using Power Pro braid for three years now best for your buck braid.
2024 will begin my fifth fishing season using Power Pro braided fishing line. I use 10lb and 15lb for my spinning reel needs, 30, 45 and 65lb for my baitcasting needs. Stuff NEVER seems to wear out. Can cast at least 30% farther than mono or fluorocarbon. Absolutely excels when casting lighter baits into a stiff head wind. Take care setting your drag as your rod will brake before this line does. I am replacing most of my reels filled with fluorocarbon with Power Pro braid and using a fluorocarbon leader because the braid last 3-4x longer than the fluorocarbon Can not recommend Power Pro strongly enough.

Most durable braid I have found.
I have used quite a bit of different braids and I keep coming back to PowerPro, I find it to be the most durable and easiest tying braid. To me its the happy medium of quality and cost compared to other brands definitely worth it especially for spinning reels.

Smooth and long lasting.
We have had this same braid on our fishing poles for 3 years. with no trouble at all. The line is very smooth, and we have caught hundreds and hundreds of fish on it. I am finally replacing it just because so much time has gone by. Don't want to miss any catches.

Easiest to deal with!
Power-pro is my favorite for knot tying! I buy 3 different brands of braid, but PowerPro will always be #1. If the price was a bit lower, it would probably be the only line I buy. Not as supple as V2, but that is expected. I spool all my size 2000, and 3000 reels with either 15lb or 20lb. Anything over 20 gets a little annoying for knot tying due to the aggressive nature of line that strong, but that comes with most companies in my opinion. They tend to have a bit more memory and sometimes will get caught in the wrong part of the knot due to bulkiness.
