These serving/charger plates are GREAT! I use them for many things: holding paper plates; serving bread; placing under dinner plates so the heat from the food doesn't mar the table top; etc. We don't eat off of them, other than chips/bread/nuts, so I don't wash them with detergent (at least yet). I just rinse well and wipe dry so I've experienced no warping or cracking (I leave them on my drying pad for a couple hours before putting in the cabinet). The colors are nice and the wood grain is bright and distinct making them interesting to look at. They stack well in my cabinet (I have 12 of them), and I've noticed that my family constantly uses them for holding a paper plate so they can carry it around the house and outside without risking a spill. My 10+" dinner plates fit perfectly on the charger, and the lip keeps plates, both pottery and paper, from sliding off. The price of the serving/charger plates was reasonable to boot! I just love getting quality for my money and I'm so glad I bought these plates. I plan to buy 6 more because we do entertain quite often.

WOW: no smell, sturdy, and doesn't make any horrible clinking, clanging, or tinking sounds EVER! Yes, your salvation is at hand: now you too can own the miracle of silent eating without grating sounds. The plates are beautiful and functional. They are surprising durable. You need an exceptionally sharp knife or really strong hands to score the wood, although light scratching is to be expected with regular use. They can be refinished very easily with some steel wool (not the kind you get at Dollar General, the kind of steel wool that actually has a rating (preferably 0000 rated steel wool) on the package. You may need to do this once a month if you are especially hard on them. Do not soak them in water, put them in the dishwasher, or put them in the microwave. They are VERY easy to clean as the oils in the wood naturally repel liquids and form a non-stick surface: just wipe down with soapy water and rinse. I do not recommend storing these in sealed enclosures as eventually they could grow mold. I recommend 3 coatings of Howard's Mineral Oil and then 3 coaitng of Howard's Butcher Block Conditioner if you want these to withstand knife use regularly. You cannot expect them to perform better than any other wood butcher block or cutting board without any TLC. Feel good that these do not have any nasty coatings or smells like most wood dinnerware.

BEAUTIFUL! Very well made, smooth, looks like real wood, with a matte finish. I ordered the 7” ones, basically the size of a salad or desert plate. Came in nice packaging, and arrived quickly, nothing about these comes across as cheap. I would definitely purchase these again in a larger size.

My husband really wanted wooden plates so I got him these for Christmas. They are good. I do not put them in the dishwasher. I noticed them getting a little rough on the edges and wondered if they need a little mineral oil on them.

These plates are terrific, especially with our move to outside entertaining -with a patio heater when needed. The wooden plates are artful but solid, and maintenance is a dream. Just add a nice snack, wine, and good friends.

I love these plates. The wood is beautiful, they came in good shape, the quality is all there. They look wonderful on my table. I waited awhile to order these but so glad that I finally did. Well worth the purchase.

I received my plates quickly and was so excited to open my package to unveil 4 beautiful wooden plates, they are thick and sturdy and they will go with my bohemian chic theme. I was they had bowls and utensils to match but happy with my plates.
