What do you do when you get a POP card?

I like what someone else suggested doing for the POP card for the first game. She said that having to put back all your correct answers doesn't make for a fun game and we agree! She said that instead they get up and jump around like popping popcorn yelling pop, pop, pop! We do this and it is fun for everyone and a good way to get out some wiggles! It was also suggested that you give your kids little play rewards as they correctly read a sight word. My nephew loves Legos so he gets a Lego character and takes it apart (head, hair/helmet, arms, legs, body, sword/shield, etc.) and he gets to put it together as he gets words correct. We focused on 15-20 words at a time. He didn't want to learn his sight words until we started doing this, now he knows all of them and he is only 4yrs old! He laughs and laughs as we pop around the room when he draws a POP card and he loves putting together his Legos! It is great because it isn't a food reward or something that costs money, it is just a simple and fun thing from things he already has! So be creative and make learning fun!!

Which one would i get for 2nd grade level?

I use this with my lower 2nd graders. They all love to play it when I pull them for small groups.

Is this set supposed to be more difficult than the red original set (8430?) because it claims its grade k+ whereas the red original set says grade 1+

I don't own the red set but the website for Learning Resources indicates it's for 5+, K+ just like the yellow set; however, it uses different sight words.
