Wonderful Manuka Noney
Love the taste and effects of Manuka Honey. A little expensive and so far cost is not an issue.

Cures Reflux
I bought this twice already and am ready for a 3rd purchase. I think that the honey tastes great, but I use it for a treatment for reflux. It is not actually GERD, which includes indigestion and heartburn. My type is reflux that was affecting my throat and vocal cords. I had constant throat clearing and coughing and my voice got husky. I was so amazed that it only took a few weeks, initially taking a tsp. 3 times a day, and my symptoms were gone!! I only take it once or twice a day now, just for maintenance. I can actually sing (off-tune) again! When I went for an appointment with my ENT last month, I proudly told him that my reflux was gone. We had been arguing for a couple of years about whether I had GERD (which I don't) and about why I wasn't taking my Prilosec, which never worked. I hope that he passes this on to his other patients, although I think that he has stock in Prilosec, so he probably won't. FYI: I got my results with +15 and it is recommended not to go lower than that, only higher.

Seemingly good quality Manuka at a decent price
Okay, so I've really recently began my super honey journey in December... But this is really a review that's just beginning and I'll update as I get to know how it works later.. By the way, I'm extremely sold on all of these great honeys after my son caught influenza A in early February (26). As I said I had been taking two teaspoons of honey every day. I started in the morning with one teaspoon of raw Jarrah honey with Green tea, and a teaspoon of extremely raw Buckwheat honey at night with my sleepy time tea. Well, I had eaten and drank after my son and my doctor was almost certain I would catch the flu as well.. Although I did almost feel like I was coming down with something, I never did. After not getting the flu shot, I was a little bit nervous at my age (55).. I was 100% certain the honeys pulled me through.. Which one for certain? I don't know, but the combination of the two worked for me.. But after 3 purchases (at 60$) for the jarrah for only 8.8 ounces I was surprised at how fast it went.. Sure, I'm only going to do one teaspoon of one of these honeys when flu season is over, but I had to figure out if I wanted to go with straight Buckwheat, or give Steens Manuka a try... That's where I am today... Now my unprofessional review and opinion.. I'm actually amazed by the difference between Manuka, Jarrah and Buckwheat... Only the Buckwheat was Crystalized for me.. As far as taste goes, the Steens Manuka is last.. For me the floral aspect doesn't do it for me... Surprisingly the Buckwheat tasted better than the Manuka.. I was quite expecting it to be last based on the thickness and smell.. By far the best tasting was the Jarrah.. As for value of these great honeys for the money? Jarrah is dead last, the Steens Manuka was a strong second, but by far the best hands down is the Amish Buckwheat honey.. As far as the "medicinal properties" Steens Manuka and the Buckwheat are at the top.. The texture of all three are distinctive and different... The Jarrah is extremely light, and the Buckwheat is extremely thick like molasses... But the best consistency and color belong to Steens Manuka with this beautiful caramel like color.. I actually strongly believe that all three are fantastic and authentic and raw and unfiltered... But the value for the money is important to me and the Buckwheat wins out at 17$ for one pound.. But as far as Manuka goes, this Steens is a steal on sale for 42$ for 17 ounces.. Whatever the choice healthwise, you really can't go wrong. All three have different medicinal properties for different things. It's why I like to have a little of each... I really hope this helps and doesn't confuse anyone... But you can't really go wrong with any of these in my opinion.

NOW THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!!
This is the REAL GOOD STUFF! I Have tried numerous Manuka honeys at this point in my life and I'm narrowing it down and of the top three. This is one of them. Steens does not disappoint. Whenever I have a sour queasy stomach, a little bit of this grade MGO is perfect. Takes it all away within minutes. I also am a dialysis patient and I tend to produce a lot of phlegm. Again, about a teaspoon or tablespoon of this a day. No more phlegm since I started the whole Manuka therapy. One of my favorite things to do is make Manuka lemonade. I basically squeeze three fresh lemons and one tablespoon of Manuka. Honey dissolve the honey in the warm lemon juice room temperature. It takes quite a bit of stirring but it will dissolve and then I add a little stevia or sweetener and I usually make a spritzer with lacroix seltzer water and it makes a wonderful Manuka honey lemonade spritzer. With ice. And you get the great health benefits of the Steens Manuka honey.

Love this honey and have always bought Steens since we were introduced to it when living in New Zealand. So glad we can get it online now that we live overseas. We use it for all the family and the kids especially love it because itโs got a slight grainy texture and tastes so good. It makes the best face mask and I havenโt had any acne since using it.

I have enjoyed Steens honey for many years and often had it sent to Australia from NZ. There are a lot of companies out there who say their honey is proper Manuka honey but it's not - Steens makes the real stuff and it's tasty. Highly recommend
