I was getting terrible reception until I looked at the Amazon reviews and saw that the blue cable needs to be connected - they should really include instructions on where to connect this. I tried all of the colors mentioned by reviewers on here, and ended up using the Blue/White 'Power Cont.' cable coming from the back of my Kenwood KDC-258U head unit. Now, the reception is as good as it was before, maybe better. This was in a 2008 Nissan Versa.

Works fine, probably could use instructions for those not instructed in Google-Fu
Works fine to install an aftermarket radio in my 2010 Nissan Versa S. Plugs right in to the existing antenna adapter to give me a standard antenna plug. However, you CANNOT skip the blue wire. You must attach it to your head unit on either the blue/white remote turn on lead or the blue accessory lead. Without doing that, your reception will be terrible (but will work) and may make you think it's your radio or speakers. No idea how it fixes it, but it seems to be a common issue with the Nissan antennas/adapters. Coupled with the new HU, it makes a huge improvement in existing reception over the old HU.
