I use this little machine a LOT. Tool bins, vitamin labels, kitchen stuff, parts trays etc. y only complaint is the stickers. Some surfaces they stick like nails and others barely stick. Biggest issue is certain types of plastics. However in all fairness plastics are very often hard to stick a sticker too. Some plastics it works great, others not so great. I usually just solve the problem with some premium scotch tape over the sticker for certain plastics and this works very well. Would absolutely buy one again. If you like organizing this little labeler can be used for ALL kinds of stuff. You can change fonts and sizes (label width can't be changed) but you can print long labels if necessary. Symbols and other stuff too. Memory retians your last print if there's something your using a lot of. Easy to use, seems well built and battery use is very reasonable. I have rechargeable batteries so it's super easy.

I was exited to get labels on the items once I got this out of the box. Installed the batteries and all I get is constant "label jam" errors. I can't print anything. Tried all 3 cartridges. This machine is garbage. Beware before buying it DOES NOT WORK! Update: A replacement was sent by Amazon. I'm sending this damaged item back. It never worked. This new replacement worked right out of the box. I must have received a faulty device the first time around. Big thanks to amazon for replacing this quickly.

The Dymo label maker works wonderfully!! It is easy to use and operate. Comes with two reels that are stickers for the labels. You can change the font look and size! It makes about a inch and in half label long and .25 of an inch wide. I had to return the first one I ordered, damaged during delivery and it was easy to do and recieved the second one ASAP! Fabulous customer service. Very convenient little tool to have for organizational purposes. Its heavy to just hold in your hand having to lay on table but it works juat fine. Instructions are clear and easy to follow set up.

I introduced my fiancee ot this, and I'm glad I did. Well, I think I am. There are labels on everything in the kitchen now, and I think I heard her trying to get her cats to stay put long enough to get labelled too. Seriously though, Dymo makes good labellers and this is another one in a long line of solid label makers from them.

Nathan Kull did a superb write up, a recommended reading for sure if you are considering this label maker. I use a Brother PT-E500 Commercial Label Maker for my heavy duty label making, but I wanted a smaller label maker for quick and easy access to make labels. This is a nice hand held label maker that fits the job I wanted it to do. When I was looking at this, I did not see the battery requirement anywhere, so I will let you know it takes 6 AAA batteries. It can also take a 9v adapter if you want to plug it in. Batteries and adapter are NOT included. It would be really nice if this were a rechargeable unit. Lost a star because it is not rechargeable. I can't rate the D-1 labels as I have about two dozen cartridges which is why I got this label maker in the first place, but like Nathan Kull talked about, there is label waste. My brother has it too. It is a bit aggravating because the Brother TZ series label cartridges are expensive as well. It's the label makers way of getting more repeat money out of the consumers. PROS: 1) Small, Quick & Easy. Some had said its difficult to learn, however I did not experience this at all. I guess it depends on ones technical ability or aptitude. 2) Has a 9v plug in option. CONS: 1) 6 AAA Batteries?! (A star demerit) . Dyno's other small form factor label makers use 4 AA batteries which are easier to manage. 2) Does not have a rechargeable battery, (another star demerit) . 3) Does not come with a 9v plug in adaptor. I would add a star because this feature exists, but then it loses that star because Dyno did not include the adapter. UPDATE: Dymo does make a rechargeable version of this label maker for about $20.00 more. It's the LabelManager 280 if you want to look it up. So because of this I added a star back.

I needed a label maker that had a narrow tape for tight spaces. This one fit the bill with the advantage of doing more than one width label. It comes with 1/2" label tape so if you need a narrower tape make sure to order some when you make your purchase.

This product is simple, but has enough extras for probably anything you’d need. Easy to use, would highly recommended!

It was always prone to tape jams, but after a year it stopped advancing the tape altogether and had to go to an electronics recycling event. Shame too. Other that deal breaking problem, it was a great label maker, especially for the price. I'd look for the an alternative rather than this one.

Me ha gustado muchísimo la rapidez y lo bien que quedan las etiquetas así como lo fácil que es utilizarlo. Por contra y el motivo de que sólo lo puntúe con dos estrellas es que estaba usado. Venían dentro de la caja con trozos cortados de la cinta. La cinta venía puesta. Me lo he quedado por dos motivos: primero porque me urgía utilizarlo y el más importante es que funcionaba correctamente y no ha dado ningún problema en 40 etiquetas que he hecho hasta ahora. Garantía de un año, así que veremos que pasa porque le tengo que dar mucho trabajo...
