It has a clean, masculine scent that is definitely noticeable when you first apply it, but it isn't "perfumey" or overwhelming. If you use more for a tighter style, the scent lingers nicely throughout the day. Hold & Texture This is a true matte product. There is zero shine, which is exactly what I want in a clay.
