Prep work is IMPORTANT. Works great.
It works miraculaously but you must follow the PREP directions explicitly and carefully. Anybody on here giving this product less than five stars simply goofed the preparation phase. This is the best waterproofing on the interior side of a leaky wall that you can buy. Prepare--powerwash, wire rush scrub, chisel out the leaky seam, drill a few holes and pack this material in. Then top coat with Xypex concentrate slurry and keep misting water on it 3 x per day for three days. That's how this works. And every time your wall leaks, the moisture reactivates the crystals in the crystalline substance, causing it to grow and seal. This stuff improves with every wet weather event. The sealing grows as the crystals grow. It works. Stop using hydraulic cement and enter the 21st Century of good tech--XYPEX.

Overpriced hydraulic cement
If you are expecting a liquid patch for a pond, this isn't it. This seems to be exactly like hydraulic cement. I was looking for a similar project but something better. This was not what I was expecting. It is rapid set just like hydraulic cement, giving you very little working time. If you're going this route, just go buy hydraulic cement from your local hardware store, it is cheaper

Product came weeks too late and can’t return
We ordered this for a home project that needed immediate attention. It came way too late so we had to purchase something else. It’s not cheap, pretty pricey. It won’t let me return. Feeling disappointed and frustrated over this purchase.
