It works quite well and I just purchased my second bottle. I have MAJOR problems with onion, garlic, dairy, and beans. With this I can eat like a normal person again with little to no problems. It's done wonders for my mood and given me peace of mind. I've tried taking the capsules as they are and also opening them up and sprinkling them on my food. They seem equally effective either way. The capsule size is easy to swallow, about the size of a multivitamin. It is kind of pricey but I think it's worth it because without it I'd have such a restricted diet. Hopefully they can come up with a solution for mannitol too.

This is a game changer. I have HFI and other food discomforts. Basically I can't eat really anything without getting severe bloating, gas, pain etc. If you suffer from something similar I don't have to explain this you or someone close to you lives this. For the products that help digest all 3 of these groups of food this one is the most cost effective. It is not a cure, However, it helps. I can eat some normal food once in a while and do not feel the severe side effects from it. Definitely helps with the bloating, pain and discomfort and overall food digestion. If you are also real gassy typically with eating, I would suggest taking a gas X product or similar as well. (at different times as directed on the bottle). I would definately reccomend this product to persons with these issues. I take it everywhere with me.

These are great, I find they work best if you use them about once or twice a week as opposed to everyday. But they make it possible to eat out without negative side effects. I also find they are less effective if you have a cocktail with dinner - might be just me but it's worth mentioning.

For the last four years, we’ve been trying to figure out what has been ruining my wife’s digestion. She wouldn’t eat all day if she had to leave the house. It was destroying her mental health, causing severe anxiety and she was becoming agoraphobic. We found out it was Fructooligosaccharides in garlic and onions - which is in everything - and Fodmate has put her back on the road to normalcy. We can eat out without anny emergency bathroom stops, down from two or three stops, and she isn’t anxiety ridden about eating. This stuff is magic.

This made my symptoms 1000 times worse. I had been working with a Dr. And doing the FODMAP elimination diet with probiotics, etc. I was symptoms free and 90% better. I was worried about traveling to Mexico because I still react to garlic and onions so I thought I would try this. Tried with a homemade cauliflower soup so that I knew for sure what the ingredients were and if there was a reaction, it would 100% be the FodMate causing it. I have had this soup before with only very slight gassiness. Well, when adding FodMate and following the directions to the T, it started with extreme gassiness the night we tried it. The next day it was as if I had food poisoning or something. I was in and out of thr bathroom with diarrhea all day and the next day as well. My stomach was cramping a lot and it was so painful. This reaction was 100 times worse than before even treating SIBO/IBS to begin with. Now it has been a week and a half and I can safely say the FodMate has caused a complete relapse and the last 6 months of hard work and eliminating foods was for nothing. I'm really upset about this huge setback. Everyone should be aware that this product does not do what it claims and can very well hurt you and your progress.

I’ve tried these pills several times now. Most of the time I have been opening them up onto the food and consuming with my first bite. Once or twice I just swallowed the pills. I’ve been taking 3-4 pills with each high fructan meal. My issue is with garlic and onions. My symptoms seemed to have been mitigated, at least a little, on many of the occasions when I took Fodmate. But one time they did not seem to work at all. That was a brutal night…and week. But overall I think they do work somewhat. I’ll try to update this review after I’ve finished the bottle.

Really helps with Sibo and bloating problems

I’ve not been able to eat food for over 5 years without being in agony afterwards for most of the month. I started using these a couple of days ago and I am virtually pain free. The pain was so bad I would vomit and be unable to move and this has reduced this by around 80%. Thank you so much. For info I have IBS, endometriosis and adenomyosis.

Didn’t expect these to work but they do! I suffer much less pain, bloating, urgency to use the loo. Glad I purchased.
