Is assembly required?

Not much. If I can do it anyone can. My only problem is some of the wine bottles slide off the rack. So I have it against the wall. It’s something with the construction of it I don’t know

How are the parts connected? Does it use screws or bolts, or glue? I wondered if it will hold up over time.

DO NOT purchase this. I put it halfway together before I decided it was way too cheap looking. Has drip marks from stain, wood is a little rough/raw in some areas....It's not worth the money. I would definitely spend more on something nicely finished and more stable.
