90700 Lee Precision, Auto Bench Priming Tool

It is a LEE. IT WORKS! nothing over complicated about this priming tool. IT works for every rifle caliber I have. I have not used it with any pistol calibers yet. Having something simple that works is great... This is that thing. Excellent value. Does not take up much space.

I have been getting blisters with a different brand hand-primer for years. Found out the hard way that I was not seating my 38-55 loads deep enough -- took me too long to find this out. This one works better since it is easier to work with. Easier to set at the proper depth. I still need to be standing at my reloading bench to push down the handle but I am a 78 yr. old woman. The only think that took any length of time was drilling the holes for the board on which I installed it. I am primarily using the large primer mechanism because I usually only hand load my 30-30 and 38-55 calibers. Only "down-side" is that you have to also buy Lee's shell holder (other shell holders do not fit this seater).

This is a very hand and easy to use Priming tool. You should mount it to your bench or a board to make it more secure to use. I've primed a few hundred cartridges already with no problems. The only issue is it uses a special Shell Holder for this tool. That was not mentioned in the description! Other than that I like this tool!

This Lee primer is the best one I have bought it is easy to use it is fast and I recommend it to all reloaders it is well worth the money it seats the primer perfectly every time I have a hand held Lee primer it is hard on your hands after a while this one puts every thing in alignment and there is no trying to get the right angle

I love the ergonomics of this design; the angle of the case mounting makes it easy to load and unload cases, and the priming lever is nicely shaped and works with either one or two fingers or your whole hand. It provides plenty of feel for the primer seating, but is accompanied by a plasticy squeak and groan from the plastic primer feeder mechanism. It's quick and easy to change between large and small primer setups. Lee shell holders are the only ones that will fit. The primer "hopper" works OK. The plastic on/off/open "switch" is plastic and flimsy and hard to operate. Primers don't always feed, and it often takes a few taps to get them feeding again. On the other hand, the clear plastic feeder mechanism makes it easy to see where the hold-up is. Overall, it's a worthwhile tool, and considering the price (remember to factor in the cost of a Lee shell holder set!), it's hard to beat for a bench-mounted system.

Works great and saves my old hands from the pain of priming. I mounted it on a piece of pine to make it easier to load.

I've been reloading for 13 years. I started out priming on the press, and have spent many years with an RCBS hand priming tool. I have pretty significant arthritis in my wrists and hands, so the RCS tool would make my hands go numb after only 20 or 30 rounds. This Lee bench prime, is absolutely fantastic. It takes no effort to pull the handle down, but you still have great feel of the primer seating. You can feel a loose primer pocket, with no question. Every primer tray, or tube feed system, needs a tap or shake once in a while, and this is no exception. It feeds the primers really well, and feeds one at a time. Sometimes the primers will bridge in the tray, with a light tap, you're back in business. I wish I had gotten this years ago, now that I know how well it works, I'd pay double or triple for it, without a blink.

Broke after using it for a month. I bought it and set it up and used it for maybe 200 rounds and the metal for the mechanism broke in half.

Al momento ho potuto verificare il prodotto puramente dal punto di vista estetico: Bello, essenziale e comodamente funzionale. L'articolo appare solido e stabile, i movimenti fluidi e privi di attriti o inceppamenti. La base risulta essere in due parti di alluminio stampato ben accoppiate e prive di flessioni. La leva in acciaio è comoda ed ergonomica, liscia al tatto e priva di asperità esenta da ogni qualsivoglia Bava da lavorazione. L'assemblaggio delle parti fra loro è facile ed intuitivo. Insomma un ottimo prodotto. Appena ne avrò la possibilità di utilizzo verificherò funzionalità e comodità. Per ora confermo senza dubbi la mia soddisfazione. Maurizio
