Man I should have bought one of these years ago. Shreds cheese in seconds. The only other thing I’ve used it for was boiled eggs, and that was also very fast and easy. It suctions to my counter very securely. I specifically ordered this one because it had the solid base, figured less parts, less chance to break. Less things to clean. And clean up is also very easy. It is a lot if plastic, which means it probably won’t last forever, but I’m still a fan.

This item works for what it was intended. I am sure there are better graters out there.

As I have gotten older my hand cannot press the handle on my old cheese grater to grade Parmesan cheese. I gave this cheese grater the ultimate test. I took my Parmesan cheese directly out of the freezer. It graded it with no problem. The suction really grips the counter. Cleaning was very easy. Great value for your money

Blades are cylinders (rather than cone shaped) which makes the cheese stick in the blade rather than fall out. It grates & suctions fine, but you have to dig cheese out of it. Also, the shape of the blades prevent them from stacking which takes more cabinet space. I had to replace my previous one with cone shaped blades due to it accidentally getting put in the dishwasher & warping. I chose this one because it says it's dishwasher safe. I prefer the other design with the cone shaped blades as the food just falls out of that type. I can't imaging actually putting this product in the dishwasher either as the base would most likely fill with water. I will choose the other style when this one breaks and make sure my helpers know it has to be hand washed.
