8/10, the flavor itself is great, but there is a trick when mixing the drink to eliminate powdery taste. When making your drink, scoop only a half scoop of the powder (only count the lower part of the scoop) and mix with sufficient amount of water. A blender bottle is preferred but normal water bottle also do the job. Then shake for about 2 min and your drink is good to go. Adding a few ice cubes also improve the taste.

G Fuel started as a workout supplement formula, it has the protein, creatine, and a few other "workout" ingredients removed as it's intended to keep a sedentary person awake. So yes, as it's essentially a pre-workout supplement with some ingredients removed.On a side note, I usually drink some before doing landscaping work, and it keeps me pretty well energized for the advertised 2.5-3 hours, with no noticeable crashes.

So, after trying to contact gfuel directly about this subject (to no avail, and I'm disappointed that they do not provide this information) I continued to research to find out just how much was in 1 serving.

This site explained it better than anything else I could find, including the ceo's post about it on Twitter which gave no specific answer.

According to the warning label on gfuel, there is more than .5 mcg but less than 15mcg per serving. Which means, there is no significant risk for cancer in the amount consumed this way, but may not be great for children or pregnant people. When you look at the amounts contained in other everyday consumables or even water, these are very low numbers.

It seems as though California has this label for everything. I've even seen it posted at hotels stating that just staying there can expose you to chemicals that give you cancer, which may be true, but in insignificant levels.

In my conclusion, there isn't a significant amount of lead in gfuel... Even by California's standard, and they are being forced (unnecessarily) to have these warning labels on them. I would speak on the FDA's recommendations, but they don't regulate supplements and their RDA for lead is higher than in California.

I like this stuff, but I'm also kind of wary because they aren't being transparent about the levels we would be exposed to each time we drank the product and therefore couldn't make an informed decision about our health and what we are putting into our bodies. However, it does seem like there is no significant risk drinking this or other products that use fruit powders for their antioxidants.
