Gets My Stamp of Approval as a “Certified Moon Machine”
Changing the time and other functions: I’ve been to a watch repair shop several times in the past few years to have a battery replaced, and in two shops I was asked if I could leave it overnight. I was amused to find out why they needed 24 hours to replace a battery, which is because they are embarrassed about needing the time to find someone who knows how to set the time etc. The last guy I went to who wanted 24 hours confessed and told me he had to have his wife figure out how to set the time and whatnot. Another person who left a review on this mentioned he was able to change the functions without the manual. Even as a retired engineer I’m not quite that good. It’s nice that most the gadgets we get these days have a user manual included, but if you use it you’d better have a good magnifying glass to see that tiny print. Thank God for those all so nice pdf user manuals available online. Pros: 1- It's fabulous the way the analog hands automatically move to the correct time position after you set the digital time. 2- You can be at the North Pole or one of those places where it’s dark for six months, and the charge on your solar watch battery will last that long (actually ten months). 3- The battery never has to be replaced. 4- Displays both Digital and Analog time. 5- Glow in the dark hands and 12, 3, 6 & 9 positions. 6- Battery indicator tells you if the battery is low, middle or hi charge. 7- You don't have to have sunlight to charge - Charges well with indoor lighting. Went from Middle Charge to High Charge in a few hours with indoor lighting. So don't worry about cloudy days. 8- The low cost for such a good quality watch with so many features does not break the bank. Cons: 1- Minor – The analog glow in the dark feature isn’t very bright, but it’s okay since you can press the light button that illuminates the digital time. 2- Minor – List of city codes is limited. Many cities are not on the list. But if your city is not on the list you can pick one that’s in the same time zone as you, which could mean you may not have the automatic Daylight Savings Time, and may have to change it manually. 3- Minor - The sound of the chime or alarm is not very loud. Yes, I admit to being a gadget freak, and as such I will also admit to this being my second solar powered watch. The first was a little less money and does not have a rechargeable battery but I decided to keep it because it looks nice. This one is my favorite because the battery is rechargeable & I like all the features. It's my second Casio watch. The first one I've had for several years and I love it as well, with all it's features of Altimeter, Barometer etc. So I can definitely recommend Casio watches.

The Toyota Hilux of watches
This is an excellent low profile watch thats reliable, practical (thanks to solar power), and sleek. It’s really lightweight but still well built for a sub $100 watch. It’s a beater watch that’s gonna outlive you. Setting the time and location is a bit confusing at first, I recommend finding a good YouTube video about this particular model which helps understand all of its functions versus the manual it comes with.

Casio is King!
A most excellent solar powered watch by Casio. Looks nice & rugged, analog dial & digital display are both easy to read. Very easy to adjust after watching a Youtube video. Comfortable strap & nice color too.

Very Nice Watch works well
Great watch so far solar recharging works great easy to see and read and works great for what I want pretty much being able to see the time and date really don't use any of the other functions on the watch very comfortable band seems very sturdy and well made I have had a number of these style watches over the past several years and really enjoy them but they last about a year or year and a half and either the strap breaks or the battery runs out This Casio so far seems much sturdier than the cheaper watches I have owned and the solar powered battery will allow it to last several years so for me its just what I wanted a simple watch that is easy to read, looks good and should last me for 10 years or more just what I wanted and at a very reasonable price for what you get in the watch will update after I've had it a few years to see how it actually holds up but so far seems excellent and a great buy

Store in a sunny spot
Great watch. Backlight feature isn’t very useful, but love the watch does not need a battery. Only had it for on me once and it recharged and reset the time in about an hour.

Great value, durable, and attractive watch.
I have had this watch for more than a month, now. I did not find the watch difficult to set the time, or to use any of the other features. I read the manual one time for how to set the time initially, and the rest of the features I figured out intuitively. FIT: I find the watch to fit me very comfortably. I do not have large wrists. There are 11 sizing holes on the wristband, and I wear it on the 5th smallest one. I am 6'0" and about 190lbs. The plastic band does not get hot or cold like a metal band does. I probably tend to sweat under the plastic band more than I would a metal band, but it is also much lighter. READABILITY: I find the backlight to be more than adequate in low/no light situations. When the hands have been in the light, they glow brightly. BATTERY: As I received my watch, it has read HI for the battery life. I wear it all day at work, usually with long-sleeved dress shirts. Sometimes my sleeve covers the watch, sometimes it doesn't. Point is: it rarely sits in direct light, but gets light intermittently most of the day. Then it sits in the dark overnight. The battery still has always read HI every time I check. LOOKS: I find the watch to have a rugged appearance. Looks like something you would expect to see in the military. Personally, I like the look a lot. SIZE: It's a fairly big watch. The screen/lens is at least 50% bigger than an American $0.25 quarter. DURABILITY: I can't speak to how durable it is, really. What I can say, however, is that I have smacked my wrist quite hard into filing cabinets or other large metal objects. When these times have happened, I thought to myself, "Uh oh, I bet I just cracked the screen or the bezel." Each time so far, the watch has endured flawlessly. As I inspect the watch closely, I can see very minor scuff marks. From a glance, you would never see them. I had to look with the intent of finding scratches to see mine. Overall, for ~$35 or so, I highly recommend this watch.

Great watch… for a while
Nice watch with good features, light weight but not very rugged. After 3 years, the bezel is cracked in a few spots. Not a problem that can’t be solved with a little superglue. Then it started leaking badly while swimming. I think it’s through the buttons.

great for daily use , specially for young people
This is a really good timepiece , pros 1. light weight 2. powered by light - both indoor and outdoor lights will do 3. day date month display along with analog time 4. provision for various city timing 5. 5 alarms - though alarm will drain power 6. hourly chime 7. water dust proof 8. easy to set up - just select your city - DEL in case of India - and you are done cons day and date month display should have been in a single display page (like other youth series watches), now button press needed to toggle , between. there is a small windows where 5-6 horizontal bars continuously change to indicate its charging (i think) its completely redundant and not needed. over all its a great watch for daily use , you can wear it school/college /work place. amazon delivery was great- on time and properly packed - as usual cheers

Casio a permanently an 'almost ran' company
Really good. Quite legible but if rather the hands were thicker and fully solid. There seems no point to holding the minute hand as you can't see the date through it. Casio never seen to make the perfect watch. It's like they do that on purpose to keep you coming back.
