Good detail consider the scale, which is highlighted once you start painting them.

You can't go wrong with airfix

Have to spend a fair amount of time removing excess plastic from the pieces but other than that fairly detailed and cheap.

Seems to be fewer figures in the box now than I remember as a kid.

I loved re-buying these for my son. I had this set as a kid and the poses of the soldiers were exactly as I remembered and hours of play on the living room floor mapping out mini battles. Makes a nice break from Fortnite occasionally and for those that one to go the extra mile are fun if somewhat fiddly to piant.
