This is an everyday activity for my 2 year old grandson. It keeps his attention and he is never bored with it. I did purchased addition letters so he can spell more complex words. It’s well made and durable.

Works like most magnets. It withstood the abuse my grandson threw at it.

We purchased this for our granddaughter. She has learning dysfunctions and so this is a great tool for us. We have used the white board the most. The problem with the numbers and letters is there are only one of each and lots of times we need two or more to spell or write a number. So we have not used them much. The black board becomes a mess with the chalk. It is a well constructed board and we have used it a lot to play word games. Melissa & Doug products are a very good product.

I bought one for my 2 year old and uses it a lot. He is learning the letters thanks to the letter magnets. I ended up buying another one for my nieces

Is a white, magnetic and black chalk board all in one..just flip over. It comes with one cheap, blue, white board marker, some chalk, eraser, and magetic alphabet letters. I bought in addition some crayola dry eraser crayons which work well on either chalk or white board. I just wish the alphabet magnets..well looked more like the alphabet. Also be forwarned, magnets are not water safe

I ordered this for my 2.5 year old, and it arrived last week. You're supposed to say the positive first, so I'll say he absolutely loves it - he's really into letters and numbers, so it's perfect for him. But as far as the durability goes - before I even took it out of the shrinkwrap, I saw the paint on the wooden edge was starting to wear off on two places on the chalkboard side. Now, after less than a week of play, several of the letters look like I bought them at an antique store and have barely any of the original paint left. Actually, it doesn't seem to be paint as much as a thin colored veneer that was stuck on. The dry erase marker is also barely functional - I tried it first, before he even had a chance to leave the top off and dry it out, and it hardly leaves a mark. Bottom line: great idea, but needs to be made more like the other quality items Melissa and Doug is known for.

Poor quality. Some of the magnetic letters have poor adherence to the surface slipping off easily.
