What an ingenious solution for my grow light problem: I needed one for a plant on our giant coffee table, but I didn’t want to have another cord to plug in for a grow light…I have quite a few. However. I have a ceiling fan over the table with lights. I replaced one bulb with this, put an LED grow bulb (with remote) on the end and BAM!! It’s PERFECT! I have to leave the light switch on the fan “on” so the light timer works, so I unscrewed the other 2 Edison bulbs just enough they turn off. If I need more light, I just tighten them a bit and they come on. I also have plans to use the other one for a screw-in security camera that is supposed to mount in a ceiling socket, which I don’t have outdoors. I can rig this up easily using an old lamp or clamp on light and hang it upside down if need be. The goose neck arm makes this extremely versatile .
