This one-piece snap-on saddle pipe fitting pushes onto the pipe, and is secured with adhesive (not included), to create a branch connection with one outlet. The Iron Pipe Size (IPS) saddle snaps on over a hole drilled into the pipe to create the new outlet. The branch outlet has a female socket connection for sliding over the end of a male pipe or fitting, which provides a smooth bore for enhanced flow. This schedule 40 (standard wall) fitting is made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for corrosion resistance, high strength, and less weight than fittings made from metal.
