Space saver wall closet
I have to say, I put this up and haven't stopped using it yet. I love it! There are a few cons, but not enough to down grade it from a 5 star rating. I highly recommend this rack. Pros: - Very simple to put together and hang. - If you have a drill, anchors, a pencil, measuring tape and level - you can hang this in about 15 minutes. (Im a female 45y/o mom, if I can do it - you can too.) -Multipurpose: clothing of course, but also - hanging shoe system can attach to this, laundry drying rack, hanging rack for quilts, organizer for hobby/craft room -VERY Inexpensive compared to other hanging wall systems -Comes with a very useful wall blue print for VERY simple marking of screw holes. -If you don't use the cross bar, you can use the separate arm brackets and use them individually to hang 10-15 items easily. (Such as a guest room) or garage for wet/Winter coats or sports equipment. -You can remove the cross bar and this folds flat to the wall & in a pinch extend the bracket out and you have 2 hanging arms - or easily reattach cross bar for full closet affect. -Can be hung one above another and really holds a lot of clothing approx. 100 lbs per cross bar. -Perfect for a small entrance with no coat closet. -Perfect for a den that doubles as a guest room. Cons: -Full extention is about 48 inches -Brackets are white (would be nice if they were brushed chrome/wood color etc) -Must be able to use a drill -Recommend strong anchors (unit came with anchors included, but I bought (6) of the heavy duty type for about $4.00) -If you want to fold this flat, you have to remove the cross bar first. (Easy, but would be nice if you didn't have to do that)

I was pleasantly surprised!
This thing is awesome! I moved into my now-current apartment, and only realized after moving in that there was no clothes hanger, except in a back storage closet (who thought up that design?!). Anyway, I turned to good 'ol trusty Amazon, and happened across this little gem. So, I figured, "Eh, what the heck? I'll give it a try, and if it doesn't work out, then hey, at least I didn't loose a huge gamble." So, I add one to my cart, and with Amazon Prime, it arrived in superhero-fast time. I opened up the box, and was disheartened at first. The back and top pieces are made of plastic, and I seriously doubted the durability of the material. "Heh, oh yeah, this is going to go well," I thought. But, I dry-fit the holders, leveled it all out, drilled the holes and used the drywall anchors, and tapped it into the wall using the included hardware. I decided I wanted a real, genuine test, so I started to just load it up with clothes. Pretty soon, I found that I was pulling all of my clothes out of my back storage closet and putting them on the new clothes hanger, and it was holding up like it was no problem. I was honestly surprised. I have about 8-10 hoodies, 8 pairs of jeans, and all of my shirts loaded on this thing, and it's been sitting perfect for 3 months now, no problems at all. I can honestly say that I am extremely surprised by the quality and durability of this clothes hanger! If you are pressed for space, this is definitely the way to go! Instillation can be a bit tricky doing it single-handedly, but it's not impossible. Great product to create a great solution for an annoying problem! I highly recommend this product!

Best insta-closet we've had, easy to install and use.
Our bedroom does not have a closet in it currently, we tried one of those metal self standing closets and while it did work it was always shaking and had been knocked over a few times, finally it completely broke and we had to look for a replacement. I found this and thought it would work perfectly. It was easy to install and has worked perfectly for 5 months now, no signs of it breaking or falling off. We always keep it open and it holds most of our shirts, we were able to put it up high enough so our short dressers fit nicely under it. At first we debated purchasing 2 of these thinking it might not be able to hold all of the clothes but thankfully we did not need to do that, though if we ever need another this is what we would purchase. Much cheaper and easier than building and installing a full closet in our room.

Mary Poppins hanging system
I LOVE this hanging system. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because it cannot be closed while the bar is in place; if I could have given 4 1/2 stars, I would have. If it were designed to lay flush against the wall when not in use, that would make it perfect. So, I'll call it a "Mary Poppins" hanging system: "Practically perfect in every way." I love that the sides fold flat and leave the wall "clean" looking when I'm not using it, even though I have to take the bar off to get that look. I'm also thrilled I can use one side, both sides, or both sides WITH the bar depending on the amount of laundry I'm hanging. I thought I might need the bar all the time, but one load of clothes fits fine on 1-2 sides w/out the bar. Only when hanging a LOT do I NEED the bar up. It's great to have that option, but looks better without it and is still a very functional system without the bar in place. We hung it by screwing into the studs in the wall, so it's VERY strong. It was easy to hang, it's easy to use, and made my laundry room a much more functional area.

Hanging Options
These hangers are great. They were easy to put up and holding up really well. I actually use them one on top of the other in my laundry area. I can close the units when not in use for a clean look. They are sturdy to hang heavy damp clothes for drying. Good buy!

Convenient and functional.
Works as advertised. Itโs nice to be able to store the bar out of the way.

Good for disabled people, those in wheelchairs, and other special applications!
I have this in my laundry room mounted low enough that I don't have to reach up repeatedly to hang the clothes coming out of the dryer. I am short and also have cervical stenosis that is aggravated by looking up, reaching up and lifting weight over my head. Hanging laundry was causing me a lot of pain in my neck, shoulders and arms until I got this. I could have mounted an ordinary rod system from a big box store on the wall in a low position. They certainly have prettier ones--wrought iron supports and a pretty wooden shelf above the rod. They are less expensive, too. BUT, those would have to be in place all the time. The only place I could mount this low also would obstruct the path to the back door. Also it just looks strange to have a rod mounted so low. I needed something collapsible. Now, when I am finished with the laundry and have put it in the closets, this rod can be taken out, the end supports folded in, and then the walking path through the room to the back is no longer obstructed. It nearly disappears when folded up. This clothes hanger feels a little flimsy, because of the way the rod is secured. It's not, though. If you put it into two studs, it holds a lot of weight. It was sized correctly for mounting into our studs. Another downside: its' pretty utilitarian looking. I wish the supports were not so plastic looking and were more stylish/decorative So why do I really like it? It's temporary quality. That allows me to place it in a spot not suited for a rod at all--and then fold it out of the way when not in use. Someone hanging clothes from a wheelchair might appreciate and benefit from this system. Someone with a small laundry room might find this helpful, too. It also might appeal to those in cold climates who need a place to hang coats and outerwear in their mudrooms, but only need it for certain seasons.

screws to long for plugs.
Was unable to screw one side into stub therefore had to put in plugs. Screws to long and after drill 4 holes into my new homes wall we are still unable to have the one end secure and strong enough to hold the bracket. We now have to wait until the hardware store reopen to go directly in and find the proper screws and new plugs. and opens so we can get shorter screws. So I am unable to use the item but it looks promising and what I was looking for.

Exactly what I expected/wanted!
We have a small 10โx9โ home dance studio for practicing (thank you covid) and hang dry delicates in here since most of its dancewear. The garment rack eats up a big chunk of floor space so I was looking to streamline. This is PERFECT! Knowing itโs for laundry (read low weight tolerance) and following instructions knowing what type of wall you have (different screws for different walls means you may have to purchase your own) it went up easy by myself in 20 minutes! It longer than my existing rack and stores out of the way with ease. Itโs perfect for what I was looking for!
