Received earlier than promised. It is definitely bigger than what the picture looks like. It is very sturdy and made well. It has non slip pads on the underside. Very nice!

Discovering that refill tape rolls weren't available for the flimsy plastic dispensers was the last straw. I wish I'd gotten this tape dispenser years ago!I thought I was being frugal buying the tape in the flimsy tape dispensers when on sale but sometimes you just have to buy them at regular price when you're out of tape. This tape dispenser is inexpensive. When bought in multiples, the replacement tape rolls are inexpensive as well. All in all, a great value.It's easy and efficient to use. I can get tape with one hand with this sturdy, heavyweight dispenser vs having to use two hands with the flimsy plastic dispenser.With no recycling symbol on the clear plastic dispensers, I put them in my recycling bin just in case. It might have been "wishful recycling," so no more sending flimsy plastic dispensers to the landfill. It's appalling to think that these clear dispensers will be sitting in landfills for years to come!I highly recommend to make the switch to this superior tape dispenser.

I keep ordering these because of the built in holder for the tape roll dispenser. It is replacing one without the built in tape roll holder where some newbie office worker removed the empty tape roll core which still contained the removable spindle to hold the tape roll & threw it all in the trash--won't happen with this built in tape roll holder. (In the past some tape roll holders have been such a tight fit as to be hard to pull up to fit a new roll of tape on. This one did not have that issue.) They are weighted with enough non-slip rubber pads on the bottom to minimize the sliding. The cutter cuts cleanly & easily. They are inexpensive unless you have to pay shipping costs. I wait until I have enough of an order to qualify for free shipping. Not many store carry these this in my area anymore. I order online.

The best selling point of this tape dispenser is the tape holder. Most tape dispensers out there come with removable holder which was often misplaced by my kids. And we have gone through multiple tape dispensers before we found this. If your kids use tape dispenser for their art and craft, buy this. No more missing tape holder!
