This Lekue Frittata Maker is the third one that I've bought, two for friends and one for me. That alone should express my response to this awesome kitchen tool. I can make a tasty 3-egg fritatta for two in less that ten minutes. Make a simple salad for a side and you have a quick, relatively healthy workday evening meal for two. The fritatta maker comes with several recipes but in a short time you'll be creating your own masterpieces with leftovers. The maker is easy to clean but the bottomline for this silicone pan is that it's easy to use and makes fluffy frittatas. You'll also be giving it as a gift

I love Tortilla Española but have never had much success in making it in a regular frying pan (everything falls apart during the flipover part), plus it's always been a very time-consuming process. So I thought I'd give this Lekue Spanish Omelet/Frittata Maker a try, and I'm so glad I did! It came with a recipe that was incredibly fast and easy to make in the microwave, and it came out perfect and delicious! Plus it's super easy to clean. I love it, and you will, too!

Works as advertised but because t is done in the microwave you don't get that little bit of crispiness that you would get from using the stove. It is well made and I like that it is free of PBA. I got one for my sister and she loves it.

I bought this for my son who makes himself an omelette every morning before school. I was hoping I could find some thing that would save him some time. I bought this one because it holds more than three eggs and reviews on the smaller ones said three eggs spilled out. It definitely holds his three eggs plus anything he wants to add in. It’s super easy to use, he likes the way the omelet turns out, and he can do other things while it’s in the microwave. Super easy to clean. Definite thumbs up!

A friend of mine introduced me to the half moon microwave omelette maker, and while I liked it, I wanted the ability to make a four or five egg omelette with lots of solid ingredients like veggies and meats and cheese, in order to share with a couple people. Although the price is a bit steep, this omelette maker nails it. Following the instructions I am able to "cook" half an onion and half a green pepper and several mushrooms and then add meat and cheese before pouring four or five eggs on top. It definitely takes some time to get the cooking times just right for your microwave, but I was able to pretty much be spot on after about four omelettes. The texture is not like a skillet omelette, more like an egg bake you would do in the oven, but at a fraction of the time. It takes about 2 minutes to cook the veggies, and then about 3 to 3 and 1/2 on one side and then about 2 on the other side. So, 7 to 10 minutes for a five egg omelette that two or three can share. The best part is that you don't need to add oil or butter to your omelette. Most of the recipes that come with it call for oil, but I always omit it and have no problems. The silicone is a breeze to clean up and even goes through the dishwasher with no problem. I love to take it to work for a hard to beat healthy lunch that is the envy of the office, wait until your co-workers smell your green pepper, onion, ham, and cheddar omelette as it cooks in the company microwave. If you like eggs, and egg bakes, I would highly recommend this. It is a little more expensive than the half moon designs, but the double capacity is worth every penny.

This is an interesting gadget. It does what it claims, but it is definitely not foolproof. It's really too large for a two-egg omelet, unless you fill it with lots of stuff. Since my wife won't eat an egg-white omelet, I'm stuck making single serving omelets. I should have saved money and bought the smaller half-round Lekue. On the positive side, it cooks quickly and is easy to clean, and it probably has wider uses I haven't discovered. The manual is microprint, but it is also available as a PDF online

I had bought microwave egg/omlete cookers before, and the others were not worth it. This one IS! I like to cook an omelet for a Saturday morning breakfast, but cooking for two, different meals can be too much work. With this, after prep, it's all unsupervised cooking. The directions they give with the included leaflet are easy to understand and work (you may have to adjust for your microwave oven wattage - it shows for a 1000W, mine is 1250W). It's easy and cooks the omelet to a "T". I am very happy with this, and should it ever wear out, I'll be looking for the same brand to replace it!

The fundamental flaw here is that the weight of the recipe ingredients is too heavy to be supported by the flimsy silicone when called to flip the contraption over, sending molten egg and potato everywhere. And, in spite of the copious amount of oil called for, the result is not the same as frying any more than steamed eggs resemble a true omelet. I should have known better but couldn't resist the idea this might provide a viable shortcut to using an authentic frittata or tortilla pan. It doesn't.

Great for getting the yolks and most of the oil out of egg dishes. If you're limiting these because of health reasons, this item could help. I rubbed a teaspoon of olive oil on the bottom inside, nuked some spinach and peppers a bit, then added the egg whites. I followed the frittata timings on the package (note they refer to an 800W microwave, so reduce the power on yours if it's higher), and out popped a really nice breakfast. No odors or other issues.
