This fixed my attic fan
My attic gable fan broke last summer and this summer I wanted to fix it because the attic gets so hot, I sweat as soon as I'm up there. This was the same look, function, and wiring as the control I was replacing. When I opened it to wire it up, everything seemed solid. This also had a wider temperature range and for the price it was worth trying it out.

Works well without any issues
The piece was easy to install. The wiring diagram could have been better; First thing: I turned off the power to the fan circuit I connected the bare ground wire from the power to the ground terminal inside the thermostat - I then passed the white wire from the power straight to the fan's white wire without cutting it - finally I connected the black power wire to one of the black wires in the thermostat and the black wire from the fan to the other black wire in the thermostat. I set the thermostat between 95-100 degrees as suggested in the unit's instructions. Last thing: I turned back on the power to the fan circuit and Everything worked fine and there have been no issues.

Turns on accurately, temperator drop required to turn off is too low for garage application
This may work fine in the attic. In the Florida summer the garage is hot and gets hotter when I park my car. The window fan went on very accurately, but i think that the temperature drop required to turn it off was too much and it never shut off. I got a digital outlet that is working nicely. I'm still adjusting, but my shutoff is only one degree lower than the on temperature; the digital outlet handles that well.
