Seetronic SC5FXX-B 5 Pin XLR Female Cable Connector

Works great. This is obviously similar review to the male verson of the same thing.This brand seems to be close in quality to Neutrik connectors, but cost almost half as much. Big plus for sure.In fact I am starting to see quite a few products that use the Seetronic connectors straight from the factory, notibly the Elation SixPar line.These are a knock off of the new Neutrik XX line. The NC5FXX-BAG is what this specifically is replacing. They have the much improved strain relief just like the rest of the XX series. The strain relief is 1000x better than the AccuCable ones.Not only are they a knock off of the XX line, all parts and accessories are interchangeable between Seetronic and Neutrik. I am using the Neutrik BXX colored boots and the XXR color coding rings threaded onto the Seetronic parts with no issues whatsoever. I've even replaced a broken Neutrik metal shell with the shell from one of these no issues.The one thing that kinda annoys me isn't actually anything to do with the product itself. I've been buying these for a while and every time Amazon says they have a few in stock and are prime, but they cant give an accurate delivery date. I've had these take anywhere from a few days to almost a month before they finally became "available to ship" even though they had been "in stock." Maybe amazon just needs more orders of these to get them higher in their importance list.

Pretty good, but be warned, the rear of the female connector is labeled wrong, meaning, pin 1 on the front is labeled 5 on the back. Pin 2 is labeled 4, and so on. Great connector otherwise, just confirm your soldering "wire 1" to pin 1.

Fortunately I ordered the same quantity of male and female connectors, but this product is mislabeled, the part number and photo is correct, but the extended description of a male connector is not, THIS IS A FEMALE 5 PIN CONNECTOR.
