I bought this 2 ton bottle jack to lift up my snow plow to slide into the front receiving hitch in my pickup truck. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and this is a very low cost jack. It has about a 6.5 inch lifting range from all the way down to all the way up which I need for this application. The minimum height is also <7 inches which allows me to get it below the receiver hitch height when it is under the plow. It works great for that. I have also used it for almost anything else you can use a jack for, including lifting the wheel on my pickup to change the tire. The unit says the minimum operating temperature for the jack hydraulic oil is -13F but I have used it at -20F with no problems. I live in northern Minnesota so haven't come anywhere near the max temp rating of 140F. I am very rough with it and even though the paint is scraped off in places, it has not rusted or degraded at all from what I can see.

I never knew about a bottle jack until a helpful neighbor suggested I get one to short up a heavy sinking raised bed on legs. This item is inexpensive and worth having around the house.

Exactly what I wanted . I'm not doing wrench work on cars, I bought this for another reason. To break the beads on my trailer tires and garden tractor. Works perfect! Powerful enough to break beads yet small enough to get in and replace valve stems without getting in the way. Very happy!!

I got this because it seemed lightweight, easy to carry, value, etc. (I even bought 2, one for my wife) First off, it cannot lift the (small) car high enough to put a stand under..& as it stands prior to lifting, almost too dang tall to fit under the car!!--I got the smaller jack even! Normal 4 door car, not a low rider. I did all the purging, testing prior to actually attempting to use it, fyi. Ok, attempted to use it finally; once I saw it was never going to raise the car high enough for the jack stands to go under (by 1-2 inches), I tried to lower it & remove it (to now get a real jack from autozone)...the jack lowered, but would not go all the way down so I could remove it completely!--yes, I loosened the knob--to the point that its oil started spewing out! it still was wedged, and the lift in the air 1/2" too high to be able to remove. I "safely" had to wiggle it with force to finally get the dang thing to release all its air and come loose... Dangerous product. Spend the extra money & get a real jack. I'll upload pics later-

Small lift height

I bought this jack for my pop up trailer but thank god I haven't had to use it yet. It shipped very fast and when I took it out of the box to have a look and try it out, it looked in good condition and it worked very well. I didn't have the problem like other purchasers where they said "they had red paint on their hands from the jack".
