Nintendo amiibo - Cat Mario - Super Mario Series - Nintendo Wii;GameCube;

Way back in 2013 I bought the original Super Mario 3D World and went through it quite a few times, and with this new Amiibo you basically have the option to cheese through the game with invincibility, as well as doing so for the newly added Bowser's Fury. in 3D World, you basically just enter a level first, then scan the Amiibo for use, and with Bowser's Fury you can use until four different instances:1. Gaining a Cat Shine2. Touching Lava3. Touching the black goop4. Becoming Giga Cat Mario to battle BowserAs for 3D World, you have it until you leave the level, or die from a pit or fall into a poison lake or lava, or until time runs out. Now, both games have their own downsides to this, for Super Mario 3D World, you can only use the power up for one player at a time, and certain mystery houses won't let you use it (for reasons of it being necessary to use the fire flower, I guess) and for both games, if you happen to switch out a power up immediately after getting the invincibility cat bell, the Amiibo scan needs a cooldown time before you can use it again.Again this might divide players into thinking that this is a way of cheating through the game, but as a veteran player of the original I really don't mind it, so good on Nintendo for including this optional idea.

This amiibo is incredibly helpful for the game Super Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury. It gives you one white cat suit per level that grants invisibility. Very helpful for when you get stuck on a level. Not only that, it’s super cute! I tested the compatibility with other Mario games and found that Mario Cart 8, Smash Brothers Ultimate, and Mario Odyssey all grant special features from this amiibo as well. So you really get a bang for your buck with this one. Plus it looks nice on a shelf.

My kids love this one. Mario in his cat suit looks so cool. We use this with our Wii U and we've had no issues. Very cool amiibo.

The Cat Mario and Cat peach amiibo are my favorite amiibos, they get far more use than any of my others. They give you a power up every level once, if you take to long to get the power up it will disappear and it will not give you another one until die or restart. Cat Mario gives you an invincible cat bell, while cat peach gives you a random power up. If you can only get one of the two amiibos get the Cat Peach, because it also has a chance of giving you the invincible cat bell. But if you are a speed runner and you use amiibos, get the Cat Mario, because the invincible cat bell is a lot better than any of the power ups you will find in game. During Bowser’s Fury the invincible bell will work until you collect one cat shine and then it turns into a regular cat suit, and you can reuse the amiibo for another invincible cat suit.
