Great for keeping odors in
I bought these after having my compost bin for a while. Despite having things like raw chicken cuttings in the bin, I haven't noticed any odor. I did learn one thing from my first set: Be very careful that no food touches the filter. I accidentally did that, and mold grew on the filter.I don't recall how long I had the original set. It was at least 6 months and I only replaced them because of the mold.

2x Thinner Than What Came With The Epica Canister

Thinner than what came with the canister
The original filters were thick and no issues with fruit flies. I ooened the replacement filters and 2as shocked to find they were nothing like what was included in the product.I may as well search for thicker filter sheets and cut them to fit.

These charcoal filters are perfect!
I was relieved to find replacement filters available for our small lidded compost can. These fit like the originals. Perfect!

Quality, usable products at reasonable prices.
Filters fit my compost bin but have not used them long enough to provide additional comment.

Replacement filters worth the money!
I had previously purchased packs of replacement filters for my Epica compost bin that were cheaper. Well, they simply didn't work as well as the filters that are specifically made for Epica.

We replaced these after ~2 months; we never have issues with stinky compost!
