I have been using 3M sandpaper for my entire life, as it was understood that it was the best. I will say that in my opinion, nothing compares to 3M. However, for a fraction of the price this is excellent sandpaper. I have been using this for the last year or two for a cost savings and have found that this is very consistent, doesn’t clog, and has a decent useful life. Although it’s not 3M, it is a very good quality sandpaper that any shop could use.

Just like the different sandpaper grits produced by Dura-Gold Premium, the 320 grit sandpaper works efficiently on a variety of projects: big or small. However, it's not ideal for use on foam, metal, or very sharp objects. Last time, I used sandpaper to reshape a foam block, creating a huge mess. To conserve resources, I cut the sheets into smaller pieces for easier replacement while saving money. I love this product because of its excellent sanding ability and flexibility.

My husband uses this when restoring tractors and loves it. I had him take an interior door to the shop so I could sand it down and I was very impressed with how well it held up. We love how flexible this sand paper is, how smooth of a finish it leaves on both metal and wood.

DuraGold is cheaper than 3M. Works but maybe doesn't last quite as long. I find it a good trade off.

This product outperforms any wet or dry sandpaper that I’ve ever used!

Nice product. I use for sanding down ceramics.

In my spare time I design and build wood furniture for my wife and I. Nearly all of it is finished with several coats of oil based polyurethane. 800 grit sandpaper is necessary to smooth imperfections such as drips, overruns, embedded dust, and ridges (if painter's tape is used to stop the poly from flowing where it shouldn't go, on the project). Used wet or dry, this sandpaper is excellent and I recommend. Meanwhile, I have found other uses for it. Have a glass cooktop? Does your glass cooktop have some crusts that will not come off using a green scrubbing pad and gritty glass cooktop cleaner, or a razor blade? Mine had several sections that resisted cleaning with these two typical methods. Then I noticed my 800 grit sandpaper. So I sprayed a little glass cleaner on the embedded mess, then went to work with the sandpaper. Got the glass cooktop shiny in no time. Similarly, several of my sink pop-up chrome drains had crud that would not come off with anything, so I gently wet sanded them off with this product. Other than smoothing polyurethane, cleaning glass cooktops and chrome drains, I am certain that there are 797 other uses for this 800 grit sandpaper. If I ever run out of this product through my use wood-working, I will order another package just to keep around for use in sprucing up the home.

Useful aid to have around for wood project

I use this sandpaper on a rubbing machine. The full sheet is 9 by 11". The rubbing machine has two shoes. Out a full sheet I can cut three pieces of sandpaper to rub table tops with. These half sheet are very uneconomical. From now on I am only buying full sheets 9-11" to avoid too much waste.

Pricey, in my opinion, but good paper.
