My 4 year old son lit up when he opened these. He’s been having “epic” sword fights ever since. They are foam and not reinforced by plastic so definitely soft and flexible. They’re generally safe to use as long as no one is getting poked in the eye.

The shield didn’t hold up so well BUT the swords are so worth it!!! My 4 year old is crazy about play fighting with swords and has tore me and my husband up to many times to count with other swords but with these we can literally go full force hitting and they don’t hurt at all! Worth its 100% and was a great buy. Will buy more once these get worn out but we’ve had them for months now with almost daily use and they are still going strong

Very well priced. Twin 3 year old grandsons have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of them. However, within a few minutes of use, one of the handles broke loose from one of the shields. I repaired with duct tape and reinforced all handles with duct tape and haven't had any more issues - and they've not been gentle with them.

This sword and shield set was the biggest hit of Christmas. My 4 year old nephew absolutely loved it, and it’s held up well to lots of enthusiastic play. I especially enjoyed watching him gleefully pummel my brother-in-law with it. A perfect gift for little knights with lots of energy. ⚔️

I like the overall look of the set but it's not the most durable. Nothing is falling apart so far but the swords are really flimsy compared to the foam swords I've gotten at the dollar store that are reinforced with a piece of plastic in the center of them. Have a 4-year-old boy that has been playing with foam swords since at least 3 years old and these are not quite holding up. I will also note that depending on which side you get hit with them they do have a bit of a pop that can sting which is not something we've experienced with the swords from the dollar store. This set is slightly overpriced in my opinion as well. I would not pay any more than $15.

Great quality and durability for the low price.

We love playing with these. Lets face it, kids and swords someone gonna get whacked. These are so soft and sturdy nobody complains about a thwap to the skull. The shields have a strap on the back that breaks on adult large hands but thats not the toys fault. These are not built to last but they are great for a make believe summer

The handles on both shields broke within a week of arrival. Not overly impressed
