5 Gallon Bucket Topper and Organizer,OD Green/Clear

Totally perfect! Fits on a 6.5 gallon bucket better than the lid it came with (Ale Pail). I'm sure some buckets will vary a little, sorry I haven't tried it on a Homer. The lid has a small hole that's big enough for airline tubing, but small enough that water won't splash out. Both compartments have lift-out trays with dividers, and the trays don't go all the way to the bottom of the compartments so I can store my bubbler pump under one tray and my airstones under the other and still use the trays AND snap the compartments' lids closed. Very easy to put on and take off the bucket, the original lid was like a paint can - needed to really pry it off. The bucket handle clears the lid just barely, and the lid is stable enough to sit on. Lose a little bit of space in the bucket because the lid extends a few inches in, but the convenience of having compartments in the lid (and a lid that fits and is strong) really makes up for it when storage and organization are crucial for having a good time. I often carry a bucket with a minnow trap and waders inside to my fishing spots, and carry it back with my catch inside, in addition to a backpack with my tackle and machete and a lightweight rifle case for my rods. Excellent addition to my fishing outfit, would buy a dozen more if I had a dozen more buckets.

Sits right on top of the 5 gallon bucket and fits right down in there. Handy, space saver. Keeps things organized and easy to find. Sturdy and durable. Great design. Great price. Buy it!

Great idea! Now I use this for work as I’m an electrician. I use this for crimp pieces, wire nuts, electrical tape, and meter leads. Easy to put on and take off. Could easily be used to other things like fishing. Simple, easy to use, and cheap. Not to mention works well. Worth trying out.

My search for a reasonably priced 5 gallon bucket lid found this. I've been using a bucket seat as a lid, since I don't need a tight seal, just something to cover the bucket. The bucket seat was a low cost option, costing a bit over $6 on sale. I always thought it would be nice to have additional tool or parts storage above & not under the larger tools & this bucket topper looks like it will give me that option! :) The pros: + Low cost of $7.82, with free shipping when I bought one. + Quality Plano construction. I've been using Plano molded storage boxes for years! + Snaps tightly onto my Home Depot 5 gallon buckets, but can be easily pulled off. + Advertised - made in the USA. + Advertised - made using the highest quality components. + Advertised - 18 compartments for gear & baits. + Advertised - removable floor for bucket access. + Advertised - two layers of compartments of bucket access. + Advertised - fits most standard 5-gallon buckets. + Advertised - product dimensions: 12 x 12 x 3.5 inches. 1.6 pounds. The cons: - The upper trays have fixed compartments... the compartment size can't be changed. I may opt to remove, cutout dividers to allow storing larger items in the upper trays. See my update below. - It's too bad this bucket topper wasn't sized so another bucket could be stacked on top. :( Closing comment: ▪ If you sit on this bucket topper... VERY uncomfortable, make sure the upper trays are installed to support your weight! ▪ I read where a reviewer said the bucket handle wouldn't clear the bucket topper. The handle on my Home Depot buckets have plenty of clearance. ▪ I'm going to buy more of these as I find them on sale! ► Update - November 26, 2015 ▪ Today I cutout all the dividers on one upper tray & removed 2 dividers on the other upper tray. Now I can place wrenches & 1/4" ratchets in the open tray. The other tray is used for sockets & smaller tools. This leaves the area under the trays for parts & larger tools. Anything larger goes in the bucket. :)

I like my Plano fishing tackle boxes but generally end up bringing a bucket for versatility. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount to tackle I could fit in this lid. There is room for all my crank baits, soft baits, and accessories in the lid that I use. Would definitely buy again

This is my go-to tackle box! I own about 10 tackle boxes and this is the one I use every time. It has enough storage for me to fish what I want. I like to travel to new secluded spots so I travel light. This tackle box fits on any standard 5-gallon bucket and stays on tight! It has enough storage for my leaders and other small containers. I'm a big guy and I can sit on it comfortably, but make sure everything in the box is flush or you may crack the clear top. So far no breaks or cracks I have knocked it over a few times and never had anything fall out. One side under the tray allows you to cut out a hole to be used as a live well for baitfish and panfish. I bought some trays to go into the bucket to organize my gear but they were too shallow. They sell deeper ones so I might just buy those to replace my current trays. Overall the tackle box is great and it's the best 12 dollars I've ever spent.

A nice sturdy divider seat. Fits the 5-gallon buckets from Home Depot, Walmart, and Tractor supply. In fact, the fit is quite tight and takes quite a good deal of a finger pull to get off the bucket. I think I might try putting a ribbon or something, as such, as a pull string to help me pull the lid off the bucket, kind of like you see on battery compartments to help open that. This will not be falling off of your bucket! Nice dividers for your lures and what not. Quite convenient. Grab It And GO Fishing! You wont be disappointed unless you don't catch no fish! Even then, you'll be glad you did!

This bucket lib storage box uses heavy plastic so it feels very rigid. It has two plastic trays each in separate deeper wells. There’s also a hole for the aerator tube to pass-thru. And quite comfortable to sit on. My only complain is that it’s too tight on buckets.
