Good seller, great value
Most of the time they came alive and thriving. About 9/10 but there was one particularly cold day and they arrived dead. I contacted their customer service and they offered me an immediate refund or replacement. The bugs do come a bit smaller than expected but if you throw some food in it just takes days to see sizeablecgrubs. My toads like the grubs and the flys, my tree frogs will only eat the flies and spit the grubs out.

Do not recommend
Do not order these. I received mine and they are all dead. Just a waist of money.

Happy with purchase.
I am a repeat customer. I buy these for my compost pile. Excellent.

Too small!
Very small. Thought they were bigger from the review pictures but I can barely pick them up with my fingers. Some were dead but most were alive. Mainly the size was way to small!

They arrived alive and thriving
The KBM FEEDERS Black Soldier Fly Larvae arrived within 2 weeks alive and wiggling. The shipping takes a bit of time for these but they are healthy. I put mine outside in my BSF bin to grow and hopefully attract more wild ones to come and lay eggs. I have had mine for almost 2 weeks now and they have not pupated yet. They have doubled in size. They are in warm weather and feasting on table scraps. If your goal is to keep them as grubs to feed to your reptiles then keep them on the cooler side to slow growth.

Loves them
Got these for my hedgehog and she absolutely loves them. They arrived alive and stayed alive for even longer than stated, though there were quite a few turning black as I hit a month time span. She didn't seem to mind the blacker bugs though, and still ate them if I accidentally put one into her tank. Will definitely buy more! Edit: Second order did not have the full 500 I got last time. Previously the tub was full almost to the top between the bugs and dirt/food they shipped in. This time I can see the bottom of the tub and it looks almost empty. Good news is though they at least arrived alive. I had ordered from another company (on accident) that had arrived with a good 3/4 of them already dead. So I'll dock one star since it isn't the full 500, but I will still leave a good review for having live bugs. I'll still give this company more chances to see if maybe my next order will be more full of bugs again or not.

Bought few times, always arrived alive
These are quality and alive. But the dozen small lizards in our terrarium won't eat them - so yours might not either. They do put these in their mouth but spit them out. These eventually turn into flies and that's when the magic happens. They get chomped up as soon as they take flight. As larvae they are great at eating organic matter in a bioactive setup. Any food we put in for other creatures in there these lil things clean right up.
