Haoge 1/4"-20 D-Ring Stainless Steel Mounting Fixing Screw for Camera Tripod Monopod Quick Release Plate (Pack of 2)

I ordered these to replace the non-D ring screw that came with the connector plate for a new Sirui tripod. Unfortunately, they do not quite work. While the D-ring screws fit the adapter fine, the space between the thread and the bottom of the screw head is too long. With the screw in as tight as possible into the camera, there is a gap between the screw head and the connector plate. It simply cannot be secured to either my D40 or D700 cameras. The D-ring screws appear to be of good quality. I will investigate to see if a washer solves the problem.

Bought this for my camera tripod mounting plate. The screw ended up being just a tad too sort for me to get a c-clip on the shaft to hold it in place. But that is on me for not accurately measuring the length of screw needed. But it ends up that underneath there was a small plastic extrusion about 1/8" thick that I was able to grind off with my Dremel which allowed the screw to stick out far enough for me to get the retaining clip installed holding the screw in place. Works perfectly now. Not a ton of room to maneuver especially with my big hands, but it gets the job done and no more having to use a screw driver to mount my camera to the plate/tripod.Good value and solidly made, just make sure the length will do the job. There is not always a lot of wiggle room.

I like if you need a low profile screw this might not be the one for you. I neede a little more space and I just took some sand paper and rubbed the head of the screw back and forth. After that it fit in every clip/ Tripod

Someone handed down their super durable manfrotto tripod to me with a fluid head, but it was missing the screw. Bought these d-ring screws and they're SO much more handy than the screws without the d-rings. I was always needing to dig a coin out of my wallet, but now I can easily tighten whenever. Perfect!

They get the job done but are still hard to use. The finger rings fall into the space next to the head as soon as it is horizontal. It would be nice if there was a little friction to hold the ring perpendicular to the head.

Used it to connect a wrist strap to a mirrorless camera

These were perfect for my camera mounts. Sturdy and build for my gear. Now I also have extras for backup or other uses.

The piece you use to hand tighten falls down slightly and doesn't sit flat with the head

マーキンスプレートのネジが六角レンチで締めるタイプだったので指で締められるこのタイプに交換しようとしましたですがマーキンスプレートはネジの頭の入るスペースが狭くこのネジの指でつまむ部分が干渉してはいりませんでした

個人的な使用方法としてはネジが長すぎたのでスペーサー噛ませて使用しています

No problems, exactly as expected

Well made product. Unfortunately the screw part is a little too long does the arcar swiss plate I have. This therefore risks damaging the camera. This is not a fault of the supplier but a consequence of no standards.
