This works well for us. It is smooth but kind of stiff. I can see how some people say it feels like sandpaper.. If you wad it up it is rough. We fold it instead of crumbling up like we do with any other tp and it’s very smooth and nice. Thin but absorbent and strong. Doesn’t tear. It’s really not bad at all. I’ve never used any toilet paper brand and thought “wow, this is amazing”. It’s just toilet paper. It gets the job done with no complaints and I like that it’s bamboo and unbleached.

I have tried a number of bamboo toilet papers, and liked this one the best of those I’ve tried. No fluffies , not too soft, and I used less of this brand than others. Just saw an article in my most recent New Scientist magazine out of the UK where this is manufactured, and they state this brand plus one other are the only two they’ve found that actually use only bamboo and not other bits of trees of some sort, so I am going back to this though the price is a bit high for me. Speaking of which, the US website for this brand shows much lower prices than Amazon. Don’t know if it’s the amount covered by amazon for free shipping from the US or not. All the other brands I’ve tried have stuck to my privates and I just cannot stand that happening! So two good reasons for using this brand! I don’t understand just what has changed in the last 10 years that’s created this awful problem, but to me it’s almost worse than using nothing at all! I’d need something to dry off from a bidet too, so I’m sticking (pun intended;) with this brand.

I really like this bamboo toilet paper. It’s soft, strong, odorless and lint-free. The only downside is that it costs three times what a quality tree-based version costs. Not double, triple.

excellent quality and value

First time trying bamboo tp products (also ordered this brand in paper towels). Appreciate the concept of bamboo over trees for eco-friendly sustainability, so that is a pro. Unfortunately, my cons outwiegh the pros. Cons: very small rolls, definitely not very soft nor plush, kind of rough & stiff, gives hotel guest vibes, and lastly, disappointingly costly Pros: environmently friendly, strong & absorbant, and gives a good, thorough clean Summary: definitely does the job, not a financially savvy alternative, does not compare to big name brands for comfortability

This is a good product to use for someone who is super sensitive to chemicals. I couldn't live without it. Regular toilet paper causes me so much pain. What i dont appreciate though is when ever so often they wont sell the 12 packs just the 24 rolls for the same price which sounds like a good deal untill you get it and there smaller rolls and it's rough as sand paper. I used it since i had no choice but it was very irritating. I always keep checking because they bring back the 12 rolls and they arent rough. I just always worry the 12 rolls wont be available for good someday.

I can’t praise this product enough. It’s important to me that I do my part for our poor environment and this product does that. Bamboo is a highly sustainable resource, unlike our poor trees. This bathroom tissue is strong, easy on the skin and lang lasting. When I couldn’t get this brand I chose other companies’ products also made from bamboo. None of the other brands I have tried has compared to Cheeky Panda. They are all inferior in quality compared to Cheeky Panda.

I’m happy with this toilet paper. This is not a paid review. This is me and my family trying to weed out harmful toxins in our regularly used household products. It’s thick but not soft like we’re used to from the cushion ones. I thought I may have complaints but truly I don’t. We’ve purchased several times now. Pros are that it’s thick and it’s safe. Cons are that there’s a price difference and it’s not pretty and cushy looking. My daughter and husband have no complaints. I’m not on the fear-based hype but even I know a little toxin chemical in everything is no longer a little toxin exposed to my body. Very happy with my decision.

Here’s the updated version with your additions worked in naturally: I’ve been really impressed with Cheeky Panda toilet paper. The rolls seem to last much longer than standard non-eco-friendly toilet paper, and even longer than the more cushioned versions I’ve tried before. Despite being eco-friendly, it’s still very soft and comfortable to use, while also being surprisingly strong. You don’t feel like you’re compromising on quality at all. I originally switched because I wanted a more sustainable option, but I’ve honestly found it better overall than regular toilet paper. I’m a repeat buyer now and this has definitely become my go-to toilet roll. It’s even better value when they have offers on, so it’s worth checking the different pack sizes before buying. Surprisingly, it’s not always the biggest pack that works out cheapest — I’ve actually found some of the best deals on the 9-roll packs. Great value, long-lasting, soft, strong, and environmentally friendly — I’ll definitely keep buying it.

Good toilet rolls, soft and quite strong ,like that it's bamboo and plastic free. Maybe a bit more expensive than some but worth it .
