Excellent Results
I get migraines from time to time, and I have two meds for them, and the meds work well; usually within 30 to 45 minutes. I have had this lamp for just over a year now. I usually read for 30-60 minutes before going to sleep, and I use this lamp for that. The frequency of my migraines has dropped dramatically, so I am very satisfied with my results using this lamp. Could the declining frequency of my migraines be from something else? Sure, that's possible. Nevertheless, if you are looking for migraine relief, I highly recommend that you give this lamp a try.

Recommended by Neurologist & Totally Great!
Upon seeing our sonโs neurologist recently, he mentioned using this brand of green light. It was used while in the exam room for about 30 minutes. Upon leaving our son said that he felt better than when we arrived! That NEVER happens as car rides and lots of movement or talking make his migraine symptoms worse. While there are other โgreen lightโ bulbs around, NorbRelief doesnโt flicker and is dimmable .The only downside is you must have a dimmable light fixture or dimmer switch connected to the lamp while using. It is extremely bright! It was apparently dimmed a little in the office and so we found this a must to use it comfortably. Depending on individual migraine or headache situations, it may not have the intended effect, as my husbands migraines get worse around it. Again, it is very bright so a dimmer lamp is needed to adjust the lighting for comfort. I would also suggest you talk to you doctor before using this to make sure it would be a good fit. Overall, it is a great choice for our son to get relief without using more meds.

Nice, if you have a dimmer switch
I have intractable migraines (30/30 days) and am extremely light sensitive. Using this lightbulb is the only way I can tolerate having a light on. I was disheartened when I first bought it because it was much too bright, but I bought a dimmer switch for my table lamp and that helped quite a bit. As long as I keep it in a lamp on the side of the room, not where itโs in my line of sight, itโs usually okay once dimmed. I bought this lightbulb in 2021 and am still using it on a daily basis (itโs now December 2024). Iโm usually up most of the night, so itโs in use several hours each day. It hasnโt made any high-pitched ringing, like some cheap LED bulbs make when turned on. I would recommend this bulb if you have a dimmer switch on the lamp. If not, I would say itโs probably going to be too bright. Most of the other bulbs Iโve looked at arenโt dimmable, so Iโll likely buy this again when I need a replacement.

My Magical Green Bulb
I LOVE this magical green light bulb! I suffer from vestibular migraine, and this light bulb really helps to calm my nervous system. I tried other green light therapy bulbs, but they didn't work for me; this one does. My neurologist said that green light therapy either works for you or it doesn't.

Maybe for some people
I have found no noticable difference in my symptoms. I tried preemptive use and reactive use, and noticed nothing.

Poor quality
Pleasing color, but within a month it started flickering and then shutting off. Poor quality!

Way too bright
I'm amazed that there are people that are actually getting migraine pain relief from one of these bulbs. I didn't have a migraine at the time when I tried it out, but is was so bright and the color so garish that it CAUSED a headache, including eye pain, when I turned it on. So I think it's pretty safe to say that it wasn't going to have a positive effect when I do have a migraine.

Calming and migraine-friendly
Bought this for my sister who has migraines and fibromyalgia. The green light did not bother her at all during a migraine. And she felt a calming effect to her nerve pain.
